A Study conducted by researchers at the College of William and Mary and the University of Maryland suggests that eating pickles…may help alleviate social anxiety, potentially due to the probiotics in pickles influencing the gut microbiome and impacting neurotransmitter production, particularly GABA, which a calming effects.
