An oldie, but a goodie of me just popping in to say hi and say that I was in a decently bad car accident earlier this week so I’m moving through work slowly but surely. Nothing broken thankfully, but some concerning numbness in my hand and some terrible soreness all across my left chest, shoulder, and arm. The coziest head table ever for @taysexton I left the original audio so you can hear what it’s like as we’re getting to the end of setup: the band is warming up, my team is getting instructions to get all of our many boxes out, @simplycharmingsocials is running her team, @jessicagoldphoto is trying to get detail shots without us in the way, and the catering team @ritzcarltonreynoldslakeoconee is putting down final touches. It’s a little bit of a madhouse, but we’re so lucky to get to do what we do. We genuinely have the greatest clients and vendor friends.

We’ve been saying all year we were going to start a YouTube channel, and with about 12 hours to spare, we did it! If you’ve ever wanted to see a behind the scenes look at how we create an event and how much fun we have, head to the link in the profile and hit the subscribe button!

We feel strongly that our events should be both unique and sustainable, which is why we place a strong emphasis on green floral design: purchasing from suppliers that pledge to pay a living wage and use sustainable farming practices, minimal use of chemicals and foam in our studio, composting, and doing our best to reduce our foot print and waste in a lot of little ways. Flowers are so beautiful and we want to ensure the planet can keep producing beautiful things!

Founder and owner, Robin Smith, has a lifetime of floral and event experience, ranging from the sunny Boho celebrations of Los Angeles to the understated elegance of the Hamptons. The rest of the team includes artists, writers, and women that have left the corporate world behind to create beauty with the incredible bounty of nature.
