Our Story
We began as college Promoters in Atlanta doing campus events for our Fraternity, Alpha back in 2003 on a small campus called Southern Polytechnic State University (now called Kennesaw State). It was here where we discovered our love for doing events. We tranferred to Georgia State University and began doing larger events and post college, doing large Phirst Pham Weekends.
Over time, this love for promotions convinced us to organize and create the company iPartyATL Ent. We ran this company successfully for over 8 years in Atlanta which led us to doing some of the largest parties and special events such as NYE with over 3,000 People.
However as one become older, we realized we no longer cared to be in the clubs but still wanted to do promotions, something we enjoy. We then helped T.I. create Scales 925 Restaurant which unfortunately was an EPIC failure. But we learned a lot due to this failure and entered into a few more partnerships with other clubs in Atlanta. Realizing the nightlife was filled with people with questionable integrity, morals, we decided we needed to pivot the company and do something more representative of our demographics (everyone was aging out of the clubs) and worthy of our time. This is when we decided to change iPartyATL from a club company into an events company.
When Scales 925 ended we decided on the name AFTER 9 which means After 925 this is the new revamped addition. Our FIRST After 9 Partners event was the “Toast the Throne” New Years Eve black tie event that did over 3500 People. Next was the Queens of Hip Hop Concert at State Farm Arena... It was here when finally realized there was a whole new frontier of challenges, risk, and FUN that allows us to compete on a national level.
