The Facility

The Atlanta Christian Chapel & Retreat Center is a 3 story, 6000+ square feet log building with a full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, plus a large one room bunk area popular with men’s groups or youth groups. Two of the bedrooms can be expanded into one large room and can hold multiple people. There are 3 additional bathrooms: one full bath, and two which are larger with individual sh
owers. There is also a meeting room capable of holding around 50 to 75 people. For a retreat, one could comfortably house about 25 people
What is provided by the Retreat Center?

• 4 Queen size beds with no bedding. Please bring your own bedding. Bathroom facilities.
• Running water, electricity,wood heat, some propane heat, propane cooking and hot water appliances, limited clothes washer & dryer, refrigerator & freezer, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, pots & pans, etc.
• A few couches and chairs.
• A fantastic building to retreat in! How Much Does it Cost?

There is no fee, however we appreciate donations in the suggested amounts of:
• $250 for a weekend of Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
• $250 for a week during the weekdays of Monday afternoon through Friday Noon.
• If your group provides the Sunday service, you may deduct $50 from the suggested donation.
• If your group provides a viable service (as determined by the Atlanta Christian Chapel Board) to the Atlanta Christian Chapel ministry or building, further deductions from the suggested amount may be viable. Contact Evy Jenkins (208) 860-2833 for discussion of viable services & deductions.
• Those going to Atlanta for the express purpose of providing the Sunday Service are not asked to donate. Requirements

Anyone staying at our facility for retreat purposes must bear this in mind and seek to:
1. Allow our representatives to use the facility on Sunday mornings for the preaching of the Word of God and give them full cooperation.
2. In some cases the Guest Group may wish to provide the Sunday preaching service themselves, which is acceptable and welcome providing our Statement of Faith is upheld.
3. In cases where our representative(s) are providing the Sunday service, we will require they be allowed access to the facility and provided a place to sleep and eat if they so desire.
4. Any Guest Group must conduct themselves in a manner which abides by any and all stipulations included in the Guest Group Contract. About Atlanta:

• Internet services are not available in Atlanta, and cell phone coverage is non-existent in town and very limited in surrounding areas.
• Pack in any supplies you might need, as there is no store of any kind in Atlanta other than the bar/restaurant which is only open on certain occasions. Pack out anything you bring, including food items and condiments, etc. There is a local dump to dispose of garbage, free of charge.
