There’s been a lot of new faces around here lately, so I wanted to do a little introduction and show you the team behind Ginger Rose!
My name is Alyssa, and I am the owner of Ginger Rose! I am a mother of two amazing kids, we have a goldendoodle named Moose, my partner Jonathan and I met on Match.com 11 years ago while living in San Francisco, we moved across the country 7 years ago and have created a beautiful life together in Atlanta, Georgia!
I have been a florist for 17 years, and started in the industry washing flower buckets and sweeping floors as a shop assistant at the tiny flower shop in my hometown. I fell in love with it on my very first day of work! Since then, I’ve worked at some of the best flower shops in California where I’m originally from, attended floral design school in Portland, and was lucky enough to go to an in-person workshop at back when she was still hosting them! Attending that workshop gave me that push of confidence I needed to embark on my own journey as a small business owner, and the rest is history!
My flower journey has been a wild ride, but I am so thankful that I decided to make the leap and become a small business owner 8 years ago this August! Moving across the country without knowing anyone is terrifying, but this industry has been so welcoming and building my business from the ground up has been such an honor!
Over these past 8 years in Georgia, we’ve been a part of some really amazing projects, and have the best clients, so thank you for following along in my flower journey…it means the world to me! 💕
