In the mid 2000s, a dj crew emerged from the midtown and east atlanta dance scene. The Rare Form Dj Crew, consisting of ya boy, TD Prez, Jason J Sol Posey, Capeeton Mudfish , and Andrew J. Ellison became long-standing residents at venues like Fountainhead, East Side Lounge and Halo but quickly expanded. At one point the crew was playing every atlanta neighborhood, almost every night, at the same DAM time. Known for their open format, party rock styles, RARE FORM DJ CREW would culminate what was new and popping with the roots of where certain music came from. The experience would be a mix of a dance party, and a music history lesson. This rare reunion is not to be missed. Boggs Social. Saturday August 20th.
DAY PARTY. 3pm-8pm. $10 Kids, and Dogs welcome on the patio.
