Often we feel like we are the ones on the outside looking at everyone just living

It starts to feel like you are the only one not where you want to be or at least still the one working so hard to get there

And it's funny because most think you are already there

It seems like time is just ticking and the steps of your stride are becoming shorter and shorter

The thing is, our view is always distorted

We can't see what's ahead
We can only do the work and have faith and trust the process

The timing is divine
You are not looked over
You are right where you are supposed to be

And you feel it shifting...

It's all aligning to your purpose

We have this life we envision that we strive for daily

for various reasons

It pulls at us, it's our passion and it can't be stopped

No matter how hard it gets, we keep working towards it because it's our purpose and our goal is generational wealth

📣the Independent, prideful, hustle mode life and business structure is over

As married couples with the added responsibility of running business together, we can no longer act like we ok doing it all alone in our 2 person circle with little to no support. ⁠

it makes everything so much more harder

We are a team together and it's past time to leverage the relationships outside of just us and our spouse

connections and relationships fuel success

It seems like you are spending a lot of time together

but when you really look at it is business time

Preparing
Working
Meeting..

and then sleeping

and even that part may not be getting all that is needed either

We block time for everything else, "that matters"

Your relationship is the thing that matters most

Be intentional about it

You will find that when you are, everything else flows better than ever

You can't have it all and still have all these negative thoughts and words towards and against your relationship

That's just my belief

Think of everything you want right now or have been desiring for years

It can still be

And congratulations if it already is🎉

If you're like us, it was in our heads, we came together and got it on paper and still tucked it away without being intentional about it for years

What you think, what you speak, and what you write all matters

Its power in it all

The couples we are meant to connect with know this and are intentionally shifting from all the negativity and focusing on the vision for their marriage with all their desires

They are determined to live in the joy of the fulfilled relationship they know is for them and faithfully work at it daily

And their doing it having fun and enjoying each other along the way

We began what is now the Sparknights Datenights (previously couples's gamenights) to first have an outlet for ourselves to reconnect and have fun and also to share with other couples like you: in love wanting to connect more and have more fun together

Since this day, the journey has been a great one

Overcoming so much and holding each other down throughout

The biggest thing was getting out of our own way and just allowing each other to love and be loved

Of course, because of our marinades, it will always be a work in progress, but that's the thing🤷🏽‍♀️

It's a continual process
A process that you intentionally work at

But the work is what you make it

A labor of love for your love💞

Even in the form of laughs, hugs, fun, and touch

What we have learned is that our love is always there and communication never fails to redirect us back when needed

When I think over all the years together, I am reminded of just that

It was together

Through everything, no matter what

That's Love

The moment you shift from always thinking about the little negatives that try to magnify themselves in your mind

the cloud opens up, moves out of the way and the sun moves back in front

The Love is there, always has been

When we started these couples' date nights, they began in our home as game nights years ago.

I have always loved to gather friends or family with a good time and good food! It's one of the things that got me into the event planning industry.

We really just find that we are not the only ones out there looking to connect with each other more and with like couples in a space that has something for married couples of various interests looking for the same

So of course when we got our own venue this had to be one of the things we offered. It even helps us set aside fun times with each other as well. 😉
