Some stories are lived, others are designed.
This one was both.

Thank you for feeling it with us, and to Alan and Richard, for trusting us with such a meaningful celebration.
And to the incredible team who helped bring every detail to life, thank you for showing up with heart, creativity, and care.

Two spaces. One story.

Every corner, every table, every floral touch was designed to feel connected.
Different scenes, same intention, celebrating love through beauty, detail, and emotion.

Every element is part of the story.

From the way guests are welcomed to the shape of the table and the softness of the light, nothing is accidental. Design isn’t just what you see. It’s what you feel.

That’s how stories are told without saying a word.

Celebrations aren’t remembered for their centerpieces. They’re remembered for how you made someone feel seen, welcomed and part of something special.

Here, A guide to Designing a Meaningful Event.

The second day of this celebration unfolded like a beautiful chapter in their story.
Behind the scenes, our team was bringing every detail to life, layering the space with intention, warmth, and a touch of magic.
This is what it looks like when love inspires design and celebration becomes something unforgettable.
Here’s a look into the moments that made day two just as meaningful as the first.

Today, we want to share a beautiful love story. One of those that gives you goosebumps, that inspires, and reminds us why the world keeps turning.
Meet and , we had the incredible privilege of designing their 25th anniversary, a celebration that truly honoured their love. Alan and Richard have been life partners for 25 years, and ten years ago, when same-sex marriage was approved, they got married. To honour their story, they chose 10/25 as the day to celebrate their union.
We enjoyed a dreamlike weekend that began with this welcome cocktail party.

Come with us as we walk you through their wonderful journey of love, life & laughter and a true Happily Ever After.

This weekend, we had the honor of celebrating 25 years of Alan and Richard’s journey together.

Surrounded by vineyards and the people they love most, we curated a celebration that felt deeply personal and full of heart. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect the beauty of their story and the joy of this milestone.

Here’s a glimpse into the process that brought it all to life.

Cultural Competency as the New Standard

Why true luxury and inclusion begin with understanding people first.

Cultural competency isn’t a buzzword, it’s the backbone of true inclusion.
Too often, organizations focus on company culture or DEI statements without truly understanding the people who serve their brand every single day.
Here’s the truth: if you don’t understand your own people, how can you possibly understand the global consumer you want to reach?

For me, this work is personal and professional. Producing events around the world means I don’t just design experiences, I connect with the people who make them possible. Their heritage, their perspective, and their story are what transform an event into something extraordinary.

That’s why cultural competency isn’t optional. It’s essential. It’s what allows us to move from simply being “inclusive” to being truly resonant, with our teams, our clients, and our global communities.

How resilience after 9/11 shaped a calling to champion culture globally.

Purpose doesn’t always arrive in the way you first imagine it.
After 9/11, working for an airline, I was often targeted and judged for being someone I was not. Instead of silencing me, it gave me clarity: I wanted to champion human beings of multicultural backgrounds, to make sure identity and culture were not overlooked, but honored.

At one point, I thought maybe that path would take me to the UN, serving as an ambassador to help countries understand how to do business across cultures.
Fast forward to today, I’ve found a different way of fulfilling that same mission.

Through global events, I get to immerse in cultures, cuisines, and celebrations, while also connecting with the human beings who bring those productions to life.
Because connecting through culture isn’t just a strategy, it’s the heart of what I bring to my company, my industry, and my family every day.

10/13/2025

I didn’t plan on a career in events, I completely fell into it.
With a major in hospitality and international business, I started out at Starwood Hotels & Resorts
nearly 20 years ago. Back then, South Asians were rarely seen as the luxury consumer, but I
knew from my own community that this was changing fast.
At the same time, my friends were starting to get married. Outside of my day job, I began
helping brides style and plan their weddings. Without realizing it, I was blending my hospitality
training with cultural insight, and uncovering a gap the industry hadn’t addressed.
Looking back, it wasn’t just about events. It was about people, heritage, and creating spaces
where culture and luxury could coexist with intention.
This is where it all began, and it’s only part one of my journey. Stay tuned for the next video in
this series.

A Celebration of Expression

From the first light to the final toast, this experience was a tribute to creativity in every form.

We saw how design becomes dialogue. How flavors, music, color, and craft come together to create something bigger than any single moment. We didn’t just witness an event. We lived a celebration of expression, identity, and connection

To everyone who brought this vision to life, and to those who came ready to feel it, thank you. This is the kind of magic that happens when intention meets imagination.

Until next time!
