Join the Clark Atlanta University Philharmonic Society and University Choir for their highly anticipated annual Christmas Concert, “…from Manger to Majesty!”
Celebrate the season with an invigorating performance of traditional and unique holiday classics that will ignite your Christmas spirit.
The concert will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, the founding church of Clark College,
under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Brian A. Tillman, Senior Pastor.
“…from Manger to Majesty” is more than just a concert title—it is a profound narrative that reflects not only the nativity but encapsulates the life, purpose,
and glory of Christ’s reign, which began in a stable and continues eternally. It invites audiences to journey through the miraculous story of Jesus, from
His humble birth in a manger to His ascension as the King of Kings. The manger symbolizes the ultimate humility of Christ’s entry into the world, born not in splendor but in simplicity,
yet heralded by angels and celebrated as the “newborn King.” This stark juxtaposition of humility and glory reminds us of the divine purpose of His birth: to bring hope,
salvation, and peace to a world in need. The concert celebrates the glory and majesty associated with this divine mission.
Through a repertoire of traditional and unique holiday classics, the Philharmonic Society and University Choir will bring to life the transformative power of
Christ’s birth, offering audiences a chance to reflect on its profound impact on humanity. This event is a celebration of the light, love, and majesty that Christ’s life brings to the world we live in.
Admission is FREE and open to the public. Gather your family and friends to experience the joy and inspiration of this spectacular holiday tradition!
