I am no longer a fan of the statement “You gotta spend money to make money…” and have adopted “Focus your investment in the business areas that will give you time to be strategic.”
Ok, so that does not sound sexy or trendy or triggering, I know. And it works for us, why I say Investment vs. Spend.
When you spend time intentionally working through your goals and the strategy that will lead you to them, the money “spent” doesn’t feel like trial and error but an investment in your long game.
It’s not what you say, it’s the way you say it...
