Today, on my birthday, I'm not just celebrating another year of life but also a journey of incredible growth, both personally and professionally.

This year has been a... transformative one. I have not took photos of myself in so long, I figured I would do so this year. Y'all, when I loaded the photos up and stared at my face, it then hit me... this is me? All of a sudden, this photo session became a voyage of self-discovery and healing. I've recored a video about this and posted it on Youtube, where I share my insights and the profound impact this process has had on me.

But my journey isn’t just about self-reflection. It's also about the passion and dedication I put into my brands Odd One Out Alien and Bold by Crystal. Creating and nurturing these brands has been a fun learning process, and it reflects not just my creative vision but my personal growth as well.

Here I used A.i. to create the rooms. The furniture, room color and type, plants, style of interior lighting, and window placement etc. Then I head to Photoshop to place my photos in, using blending modes and lights to make them fit naturally. A combination of A.i. and my real life photography art. (Cuz I can do both. 😝)

Portrait a.i. has been fun, but I don't expect the trend to last long when it comes to online content. However, using a.i. for mood boards is a great use case. You can get pretty creative with editorial portraits and gain all types of ideas. Ill show those soon.

A lot of controversy around Ai art in the creative community.

I've been experimenting a lot with midjourney and learned its way more in depth as a creative tool than I expected. Plenty of good use cases that tells me its not going anywhere. But there are some things about ai that I don't agree with. One in particular is its ability to mimic artists' styles. Simply mentioning their name in a.i. transforms your image as if they themselves drew it. That doesn't sit right with me so I personally avoid it. Artists names and styles should be removed from a.i. art.
