☸️ As of this afternoon, I am an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church.

☪️ I’ve done this for the specific purpose of helping couples who want to make it legal before the new administration takes office.

✡️ If you’re local, or able to commute to Atlanta, I’m happy to do this for absolutely no charge. I am also willing to travel if the couple can cover my expenses.

✝️ Not gonna lie, I know very little about officiating a wedding! My extent of knowledge is mostly from the planner perspective. It will be a learning experience for us all!

We interrupt our regularly scheduled content to bring you some real and raw–

I’ve taken the past 36 hours to process my emotions over yesterday’s devastating news.

I am Angry
Confused.
Scared.
Hurt.
And so much more.

I’m afraid of what this will mean for my marriage.
Our family plans.
Our business.
Our finances and estate.
Our medical and end of life care.

I’m also thankful.
For all those who have reached out, offered support, refuge, and resources.
That we live in our blue bubble where we mostly feel safe.
For a great community of people here who love and support us.
To have a passport, pending global entry status. And to live less than an hour from a major airport.

I’m grieving the loss of relationships that I can no longer maintain. Those who believe that my basic human rights should be voted on, do not deserve a place in my life. Period
Still, I’m dreading the holiday season more than ever before. There are so many difficult conversations yet to be had.

I’m hurting even more for my peers who are less fortunate. I am here for you. I love you 🩵

We are not ok. But we’re going to get through this together. We are strong. We will fight. We will not give up.

Whenever we run liberal cookies, we get tons of hateful messages and phone calls. Today was no different.

Here’s the thing. I don’t give a f**k if you don’t want to buy a cake from me because I put out Tim Walz cookies. I couldn’t care less what your opinion of me is, nor do I think twice about your unsolicited advice on how I should run my business. You don’t like me? Don’t come here. You don’t like that I post political s**t? Unfollow. You are irrelevant.

We’ve built a business with grit, tenacity, authenticity and one that has a real voice. We stand for something. No one will ever take that from us.

We have found our people and our core audience in these last 6 years. Like minded individuals who love our product, love our voice, and keep coming back for more.

Save your harassment for someone else. With such hateful rhetoric, we never wanted you in our shop to begin with.

💔 Our Hearts Are With the Blue Ridge Mountains⛰️

To all the folks affected by the heartbreaking devastation in the mountains of NC and TN, we know this is an incredibly difficult time. As a q***r and disabled person, I am also aware of how marginalized communities are disproportionately affected in a disaster like this one.

The death toll is rising. People are still missing. So many are stranded without water, food, electricity, and other necessities.

If you have plans to travel to the Blue Ridge this season…no you don’t. These communities need time to rebuild and restock supplies for residents before they can support tourism again. It’s going to take more than a few weeks (or even months.)

With all that said, if your wedding has been postponed or relocated due to the devastation, I’d like to help.

My journey into business ownership started with my own q***r wedding to my amazing partner Gwen.
