RePosting because EVERYONE needs to hear this!! Event Tip: Potential clients please be honest when a private chef (local/traveling) or caterer (local/traveling) asks for your budget instead of saying you don't know/there's no budget. Reason being, we determine the cost of EVERYTHING (OUR LABOR, FOOD COST, STAFFING, ETC) based on a budget & it's cumbersome to sit down and create a proposal & then told the cost isn't in your budget. Contrary to popular beliefs, we're willing to work with almost any/all budgets as long as they're REASONABLE & not outlandish.
