During your booking process, you’ll want to ensure a space checks off a few boxes on your “wedding venue checklist” before signing the contract. By following this checklist, you can ensure everything is covered before finding the perfect venue for your big day! 📍Location: You’ll want to ensure the venue’s location is right for you. Consider if it’s close to hotels for out-of-town guests or in an area with a lot of traffic that might cause delays. 🏙️ Space: Even if you’re planning a wedding outdoors, you’ll need a contingency plan if the weather doesn’t cooperate. You’ll want to make sure you’re comfortable with all the settings, regardless of the weather, on your wedding day. 🚗 Parking: Is there parking at the venue? How far is the parking lot from the venue? If the parking lot is far, how do you get from the parking lot to the venue? (We have a huge parking lot available 🅿️) 👤 Onsite coordinator: Who will be in attendance on your special day? (We always have someone present during the events 🫡) 💸 Hidden fees: The last thing anyone wants is to be hit with an unexpected fee at the end of the day. A lot of venues will charge an additional fee for early/late setup, extra guests, or damage (be sure to get a final quote before making any commitments 🙌) 🙈 Privacy: Do you have your own space, or will you be sharing it with other events? 👀 Rules: Some venues have restrictions ❌ For instance, they may not allow loud music after an hour or confetti or candles. It’s essential to know all the regulations before you book a venue. 📸 Photo locations: Are there indoor and outdoor wedding photo locations?
