Saturday we participated in our 1st Silent Auction to Benefit Breakthrough T1D (formally JDRF). Alyssa was selected as a Gala Ambassader and all the Ambassaders provided a basket for the silent auction. I contacted several businesses for a donation and thought why not give a donation from my business.
Breakthrough T1D was the 1st organization to visit us at CHOA when Alyssa was 1st diagnosed March 30, 2014. I have participated and volunteered in many JDRF events over the years, this was one of the most exciting and rewarding.
They raised 1. 8 million dollars Saturday night. It was an incredible 30th Anniversary Atlanta Hope Gala! Our basket raised $360......I was so suprised but any amount to support the mission to raise critical funds for type 1 diabetes research while celebrating the remarkable progress toward a cure. Type 1 diabetes cures are within reach and I cant wait until we can turn Type 1 to Type NONE!!!

Last week I participated in the Spark Prize Small Business Pitch Competition, presented by Truist and .

️The Spark Prize is part of United Way of Greater Atlanta's Building Resilient Entrepreneurs initiative, which helps small business owners access the capital they need to grow. Out of 25 contenders, six standout Atlanta businesses were selected to share their bold ideas and visions.

I came in second place🎉 Thank you and for investing in my business and Congratulations to all the finalists.
