AstroTurf hosted lunch yesterday for over 150 employees to say "Thank You" for all that you do! Everyone's favorite burger truck was there, , serving up those juicy burgers for a hunger lunch crowd.

Viasat loved on their employees this week with a little ice cream break. Viasat understands how important their employees are and wanted to say thanks with a delicious ice cream cone from Atlanta Ice Cream Company . Even though it was freezing cold and raining, over 125 employees enjoyed ice cream.

Today I had the pleasure of working with other Second Helpings Atlanta, Inc. volunteers to pack over 2000 Hello Fresh boxes with their Meals with Meaning Atlanta program. Hello Fresh donates 2000 meals each week that is given out to the Atlanta community. Each week the boxes are distributed between different organizations.

This week our boxes are going to the Mayor’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs in SW Atlanta, Community Giveaway in downtown Atl, over 10 different food pantries around Atlanta, Hosea Feed the Hungry, and Antioch Urban Ministry.

Paige Nathan is founder and owner of Simply Food Trucks which was founded in 2016 and has been the premier food truck booking company in Atlanta and other cities in the Southeast.

Simply Food Trucks (SFT) was created from Paige's love of street food, entrepreneurship and networking. Some of their most significant accomplishments include being a part of Super Bowl LIII, the Miss Universe Pageant, countless film productions, Falcons events for players and fans and a Food Truck Night at the Home Depot Backyard for a wellness company with 10,000 guests.

They are also committed to giving back and supporting many non-profits at their events and have worked with many including Rock the Vote, World Central Kitchen, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Arthur Blank Foundation. They have proudly donated to several food-related organizations, including Second Helping Atlanta, The Giving Kitchen, and Wholesome Wave.

Paige Nathan worked for many years as a non-profit fundraiser and event planner in Washington D.C., New Orleans, and Atlanta. She understands how challenging hosting a successful event can be and knows what it takes to wow even the pickiest of guests.

When not scouting out new culinary hot spots, Paige enjoys spending time with her husband, 16 year old cockapoo and two sons.

Even though March 1st is Employee Appreciation Day, it's a theme that is used year round by event planners, business owners and HR directors.
