I’m going to start sharing some of the footage from artistry lab - so for those following along, the artistry students have a weekly lab class where they are working on their creative pursuits for the year - in yesterdays lab class they reviewed their dance bios that were going to drop soon 🥰🥰 & they discussed the show that they are putting on towards the end of the season.

They are co-producing the show with Miss Stephanie so they have to figure out:

-The theme & narrative arc of the show, they also have to contribute to a large portion of the Choreography. They have to make decisions on what guest Choreographers they want to work with, they have to find a venue for the show & go through the process of booking the space

They have to figure out wardrobe

They have to figure out how to promote the show & What the social media roll out will be, and much more!!

I’ll be posting clips of some of the deliberation, but I’ll tell you now they are coming up with some amazing stuff!!

Also if you’re interested in being a guest choreographer and pouring into the girls, let us know!

Congratulations to Treasure on being selected for the City of Atlanta’s ARTSCool Apprenticeship Program through the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs.

ARTSCool is a paid youth apprenticeship that provides emerging artists with professional experience, mentorship, workforce development, and hands-on training within Atlanta’s arts community.

We’re proud to see her take this next step as an artist and young professional.
