Our plant shop is excited to introduce the Plant Rehab Program, an initiative aimed at giving plants a second chance at life while fostering a sense of community and generosity. Participants can adopt plants that need extra care and, in exchange, provide a donation in the form of plant supplies, monetary funds or community service from one of our partners.

We really enjoyed working on this home installation. The client was a minimalist who appreciates art and a pop of color. We wanted to add a tineke and calathea to give him that pop of color he was looking for . And we worked with to add the element of art to custom pots. Which plant speaks to your style?

Since the temporary close of the store, we have scheduled a lot of home deliveries and custom installations.
Side note this is the biggest fiddle leaf I’ve ever repotted 😅🪴 Happy to report it’s only lost 4 leaves since July 🍃

A customer contacted me and asked if I could deliver a very special plant to a friend whose mother had passed away. He explained he didn’t want anything that would die or be a hassle to care for. He also said he wanted the gift to be symbolic and sentimental.
I immediately knew I wanted to deliver a ZZ plant. They’re so beautiful strong and a great plant that gives more than it takes. Beyond the plant being beautiful the plant symbolizes growth, prosperity, upward mobility, and stability.
To make this gift even more personal I knew I wanted to have the pot hand painted. I reached out to the talented and gave him the background of the plant. He designed a Ghana inspired Adinkra symbol creation. The symbols he painted on the pot represent: strength, energy, abundance, trust in God, humility and vitality.
To bring it altogether created a “Brotherhood” plant marker stake.
It was such an honor creating this. And I would love to bring special touches of plants and thoughtfulness to your homes. If you are ever interested in a custom creation let me know. These type of projects are so fulfilling and bring me absolute joy.
