While summer is still in full swing, our minds are already thinking of all the wedding trends that will be IN for Fall 2024.

💡 Cozy, trendy lighting
We’re thinking miniature lamps incorporated in table runners and colorful taper candles.

🧊 Functional Ice sculptures
Make ice sculptures functional by serving chilled appetizers on top or have a tunnel system carved through it to pour drinks.

🍟 Late Night Snacks
Keep the party going with surprise late-night snacks after the reception. From build-your-own mini hotdogs to French fries and condiments, have a strolling cart to serve snacks directly to guests or utilize a food station so guests can come as they please.

One trend that’s been on the rise in 2024 is leaving guests with a party favor that not only is a great take-home, but also provides an experience in itself.

This energetic sangeet brought the action through the fun celebrations and the food stations as well 🕺 Guests enjoyed Pani Puri and Raj Kachori prepared right in front of them along with several other appetizers including Chicken Tikka and Paneer Bhurji Tacos. Two buffets and a dessert station were also part of the mix!

The stunning decor added to the energy, filling the room with bright colors. Definitely a night to remember, and a big congratulations to the happy couple! ✨

We had the pleasure of catering and designing this corporate lunch, fulling leaning into our expertise in South Asian cuisine. Four stations were enjoyed, including a tandoor station, a chaat station, a double-sided buffet, and desserts 🍬 Must-haves including Masala Lamb Chops and Samosa Chaat to Butter Chicken and Gulab Jamun were served.

Guests surely remembered this event for days, not just because of the food, but also from the gorgeous henna that was provided to guests by R Henna Art Rozisalim (scroll through the photos to see one of her designs on our staff) ✨

With Earth Day AND National Volunteer Week having been last week, we knew we wanted to get out in our community and take part in a day of volunteering 🌱 With the help of Hands On Atlanta , we spent a day in the soil with Truly Living Well, a Natural Urban Agriculture Center here in Atlanta. We had so much fun preparing soil beds and planting tomatoes with a group of amazing volunteers!

Did you know that this coming Monday is Earth Day? Inspired by the holiday, we’re excited to share two tips that we find helpful for being more sustainable when cooking at home — because sadly no one has us catering to their home EVERY day.

1. Shop local 🍓🍋
Who doesn’t love a good farmer’s market trip? When you’re able to, shopping local reduces the carbon footprint of our food thanks to the significantly shorter distance that the food travels to get to you. Local businesses also tend to produce less waste and have smaller-scale operations when compared to larger chains, which helps in waste reduction and energy conservation.

2. Track your trash 📋
While much of food waste takes place before it’s in our homes, we can make simple changes to help reduce our impact. One simple way to do this is by keeping track of what foods we throw out each week. Try taking note of every food item you throw out for two weeks to see what trends occur. For example, maybe you’ll see that you throw out a lot of spinach because you’re never able to use the whole pack; in this case, you could try incorporating a weekly recipe that includes spinach as a key ingredient to reduce your waste.
