From Then to Now

At 18 years old, I walked into Bloomingdale’s and applied for a summer job. Little did I know that this one small act would lay the stepping stones for my life path. After a slightly nervous interview, I was ecstatic to be invited to employment at what I considered to be paradise! I was placed in the China & Crystal department, and the seed was planted. It wasn’t only the stunning patterns of Mottahedeh or the finely cut Baccarat goblets that captured my heart, it was the entire essence of The Wedding ~ the importance of culture and heritage, the intricacies of family relationships, the giddy anticipation of a brand new life... and of course the beauty. Being surrounded by beauty all day long certainly helps in developing one’s future plans, and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve come quite a distance since that first job, and have gathered much along the way. As owner of Three Little Birds Weddings, it’s now with passion and excitement that I awake each morning to see what the day will bring!
