Homemade Orange Dole Whip (like Diisney)
INGREDIENTS :
12 oz Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
8 oz Frozen Cool Whip
2 Tbs Honey or 1 1/2 Tbs Sugar
3 cups Crushed Ice
INSTRUCTIONS :
Place the frozen orange juice into a blender and blend until it reaches a whipped consistency.
Add ice, honey, and Cool Whip. Blend until well mixed. If the mixture is too thin, add 1/4 cup more crushed ice and blend again.
Taste and add additional sweetener if desired.
For a pretty presentation, transfer to a piping bag with a star shaped tip. Pipe into chilled serving dishes and enjoy!

I have never swam at the ranch ! But my pool had a. Issue this week so we came up here ! I drive thru here all the time , work up here at events and even tho I know it’s a beautiful place I never take time to fully enjoy what so many people experience when they stay here! It’s kind of overwhelming really to think about the families and churches who plan their reunions and retreats here year after year!! We are blessed to be a blessing !! This place truly is amazing! 24 years strong!

Watermelon: 1 small, cut into fry shapes
Greek yogurt: 1 cup
Coconut milk: 2 tablespoons
Lime zest: 1 teaspoon

Shout out to Clown Around Party Rental for providing great fun stuff at Freedom Fest At The Ranch.. not pictured is a huge obstacle course, huge slide , tug and dunk , machical bull and the cutest train !
When they arrived one of the Ferris wheel was t working properly so they sent a crew to pick up something different … they had to drive past McKinney at 2:00 to be back and set up by 5 ! They were easy to work with getting it ordered months ago, reasonable pricing and worked hard when they arrived to get it set up on time !! I highly recommend them . We have used a different company for 20 years … I’m glad I found Clown Around this year!!

So much going on today at the ranch - last day of Timbernook Camp, first day of Denton Freedom House annual campout and Moms In Prayer group in the ranch house praying for their children and grandchildren !! GREAT DAY AT THE RANCH !!!

Have I mentioned it’s been a busy time at the ranch ! Due to several youth camp closing this summer due to The Rona - the Ranch has seen several new groups!!! We were excited to host Iglesias Bautista Eben-Ezer 2 weekends ago ! So great to have them as new friends and ranch fans !

I tried posting the Mt Rushmore Firework Spectacular - it’s almost as good as Freedom Fest 😁- it was was phenomenal !! Watch it today if you missed it last night ! No firework show is complete without Ray Charles singing America America - as we played it every year as the song to our 10 minute finale !! America America from sea to shining sea!

I hope you enjoyed strolling down memory lane - hearing a little about the ranch beginnings and freedom fest then and now! I had to tear up a little this morning knowing I would miss seeing so many of you tonight - faithful fans faithful volunteers faithful sponsors faithful family and friends!! My lil Levi says it best GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! Happy 4th Of July and THANKS to ALL who got us to THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE AND TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO WORK HARD TO KEEP IT THAT WAY !!

Our one and only trumpeter LUKE OWENS! Started playing annually the National Anthem at Freedom Fest when he was 13 - now he is in college!!! Thanks Lukester for your commitment to Freedom Fest all these years!!!

Our younger daughter Alexa grew up on the ranch . When she was 7 she could have taken over the business - she could recite everything about the ranch , the ministry and each event .

Thanks Chad Mudd - so great to have you be a part! We will definately miss your BBQ wagon !
