Lundyville's Acoustic Stage Musicians March 27, 2024
It's not often Phil has everybody on stage for a round robin rather than individual performances, but we had a blast on March 27th! The musical collaboration was fantastic--the video compilation doesn't do the sound justice. One person in the audience complimented the musicians on their ability to play as an organized band without any rehearsal together. On stage: Randall Hughes, Ed Trepanian, Jason, Gary Jaeger, Phil Schneider, Gary Payton, and Dan Spirey. Our performers are great!
Gary Jaeger sings Led Zeppelin's "Thank You."
To whet your appetite for the 2nd and 4th Wednesday Acoustic Stage, here's one of our favorite performers! Gary Jaeger has a wide repertoire of songs, and we never know what he's going to do--but it's always great.
Fred White with Frank Schwartz and Dan Shirey: "Who's Up?" (4 Non Blondes)
Who were the most popular musicians on Wednesday night's Acoustic Stage? Frank Schwartz on bass and Dan Shirey on percussion! But Fred White had them first, and he (and they) closed out a very fine night of music. We look forward to the NEXT Lundyville Acoustic Stage on Wednesday, March 13.
Another very fine performance by Phil Schneider, Frank Schwartz and Dan Shirey on Lundyville's Acoustic Stage.
It was another night of superb collaboration on the Lundyville Acoustic Stage this past Wednesday night. Randall Hughes teamed up with Frank Schwartz on bass and Phil Schneider on guitart to play Vince Gill's "When I Call Your Name.
Mike D and Sean O from Tampa visit the Acoustic Stage Wednesday Dec. 13.
R. Mike Donahue is a very talented performer who graced the Acoustic Stage Wednesday night. We apologize for not catching the name of the song (or the first few notes). Enjoy anyway!
Lundyville Acoustic Stage performers: August 23, 2023
There was almost an orchestral sound last night on the Acoustic Stage! All 5 musicianssat on stage and took turns at the mic, but accompanied each other to make wonderful harmonies. Frank Schwartz was the unspoken star, as he played a superb bass on almost every song. We thank Frank, Randall Hughes, Ed Trepanian, Chip Dockery and Phil Schneider for a fantastic evening. Enjoy these short snippets of it.
Once again the Acoustic Stage produces superb talents performing originals and covers alike. Here Gary Jeager performs and Tom Wait song "I hope you don't fall in love with me"
The next listening room Acoustic Stage is June 14 at 7:30 pm, as always there is never a charge to get in and support great local talent.
From the Acoustic Stage on Wednesday evening 5- 24. It always a pleasure to hear such great talent grace our humble stage and for me a real Honor to run sound for them.
This selection is Jeff Hugh's performing a song written by composer David Qualey. The song was written for the birth of Qualeys sisters first child. A beautiful soulful soft melody. Jeff's performance of this song showcases his exceptional guitar talents.
Jeff will be performing this Sunday at the Azona Brewery in Palm Harbor from 5-8

"Ever'body Gets the Blues," with Frank Schwartz on bass and Phil Schneider on guitar
The Acoustic Stage is famous for collaborative performances by ad hoc ensembles. Frank Schwartz started out as part of the T.O.G.s, but when 2/3 of the group left for the summer Frank teamed up with Phil Schneider. We hope they continue! The song is an original by Phil Schneider, written with Travis Hughes, performed on Lundyville's Acoustic Stage on May 10, 2023.
The musicians who performed on the Acoustic Stage this past Wednesday night had not rehearsed together. But that didn't stop the collaborative music that ensued! It was fabulous.
Fred White has been a favorite on the Acoustic Stage for a few years now. This winter he drafted Frank and Dan to form the T.O.G.s (Three Old Guys), and they are GOOD!
Barry Brogan performs on Lundyville's Acoustic Stage
Barry Brogram drives all the way from Titusville just to play at Lundyville. It's a real treat when he comes.
Greg Fuentes on the Acoustic Stage performing his original song " Guiding Light".
A great venue to see local talent in the performance of original music.
The last Acoustic Stage of the year was a dynamic event, with the musicians supporting each other with guitars and voice. Be sure you listen to the end with Fred White leading the chorus!
Denny Ellis and the Simply Country Band performing Denny's original "Dial the two". Simply Country performs every Thursday at Lundyville Music Hall.
Lundyville TV Episode 95: Todd Murphy
We love our original songwriters. Please notice the quiet behind the performer, as the audience actually listens to the music. Lundyville remains the best venue for original music--AND the longest-running open mic--in Polk County!
Lundvyville TV Episode 94: Tucker Groce
We are pleased to highlight a very talented young man. Tucker Groce actually played at the Music Hall many years ago when he was somewhere around 6 years old. We were impressed then, and even more so now.
