We would like to thank and wish good luck to all the impressive contestants who interviewed for the Audubon County Fair Queen title tonight! 👑 Don’t miss the coronation on Wednesday, July 17th under the big tent during the Kick-off Supper! Come out and support these wonderful ladies including Michelle Brooks, Gracie Olsen, Olivia Carter, Emma Brand, and Evelyn Gomez. Good luck girls!

Bring on the babies! 📸 The county fair is for all ages… even the smallest of fairgoers. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and the event will start promptly at 9. Join in the fun at the Agri-hall hoop!

Don’t forget to get your quilts ready for the quilt show at the Audubon County Fair! This event is designed to celebrate the creative quilters in our area by displaying their beautiful creations as we end the fair.

This event will be the last event under the big tent. For those that would like to participate, please bring your quilts to the fairgrounds at least an hour before so we can get them on display!

A crown is up for grabs! 👑👀 Calling all kindergarten through third grade Audubon County gals who are interested in “competing” for the Little Miss Audubon Fair title. Learn more about this new, just for fun, contest below!

•This contest will take place during the Sponsorship Dinner on July 17th while guests are eating. Only kindergarten through third grade girls are eligible. (Going into Kindergarten and just completed third grade.)

•Contestants will walk across stage and simply say there name into a microphone and answer a fun questions. (Ex: What is your favorite color? Or Do you have a pet? What is its name?) There is also no dress code, please wear whatever makes you feel the most beautiful and comfortable!

•To determine a winner we will simply randomly draw a name from a hat. That individual will be crowned Little Miss Audubon Fair and receive a crown and sash. She will have no responsibilities during fair.

•No registration! During the Sponsorship Dinner we will call for participants to meet behind the stage. There will be adults there to help the girls line up.

We are excited to introduce some fun, new events at the fair this year. That includes the Hay Throwing Contest! There will be multiple age divisions including a 12 and younger division all the way up to a 55 and older category for both male and females.

So, get in the weight room these next two weeks and join in on the fun! 🏋🏽🏆 Tag who you think should enter and would win in the comments below! 👀💪🏽

🚨💧ANNOUNCEMENT: If we do end up getting rain tomorrow and have to call the race, we will plan on rescheduling it for Sunday, June 30th. The pits will open at 3 p.m. and the race will begin at 5 p.m. This plan will only go into place if the races are canceled due to weather, we will make that announcement tomorrow if needed.

For now, this is our BACKUP PLAN. We plan to continue with our Friday night race for the time being. Stay tuned!

🏁Join us this Friday June 28th for the second Figure 8 Race of the Audubon County Fair Season. Gates open at 5 pm and races start at 7:30 pm. 🏁

We will be doing another 50/50 raffle drawing this week! Purchase your tickets at the races and the winner will be drawn at intermission. 50% of the jackpot will go to the ticket holder and the other 50% will go towards the construction of the new concession stand and restrooms. 🎟

Don’t forget to grab your ticket EARLY for the Fair Kick Off Supper this year! 🍀🎟️🥩🐷👑🥧 Tickets can be purchased at the Extension office or the day of the event at the fair grounds. *For food count purposes we would love if you purchased early!

Help us celebrate our generous sponsors, 4-H kids and officially kick off the fair. Sponsors are currently receiving their packets with tickets to the meal, all 4-H members will receive a free ticket at fair, and anyone else wanting to come (parents, community members, and others) can purchase a ticket for $10.

All are welcome to enjoy an awesome meal and presentation!

FINAL FAIR SPONSORSHIP CALL! 👀 This is the final call for anyone who would like to participate as a 2024 Fair Sponsor. ☘️🏆Like last year, this sponsorship comes with different exposure as well as a fair packet full of tickets for fair events like the sponsorship dinner and much more. Below are the sponsorship levels, these levels can be purchased by a business or family.
