Backstage with Kim: The planning process is the cornerstone of a successful project. Prior to every event, I invest a substantial amount of time refining the presentation. I pose numerous questions to gain insight into my client's vision. I take detailed notes and then sketch my concept. Once I am satisfied with my design, I proceed to construct the table, incorporating the necessary elements for an exceptional presentation. In my mind's eye, everything surrounding the table fades into obscurity, and all I see is my creation. Everything else is black 🖤. Secret: I know I have achieved perfection when I am overcome with emotion and tears. Yes, I literally cry. After composing myself, I proceed to photograph every aspect of the design from multiple angles, followed by creating a video. On-site at the event, I utilize these images and videos to refine my process and optimize my time management. That's it! The images below are from a recent project, with the surrounding area obscured to provide a glimpse into my creative vision.
