It's been said, "You can't go to the circus everyday and expect it to be fun". Really?
Well it was 3 days of expecting the unexpected. Every time you thought the food couldn't taste any better, the performers were at the peak of perfection, the campers couldn't get more weird, BOOM 💥 IT HAPPENED!!!
We were 43 this year. We added Joanne and Doug from New Hampshire to our group because they told us that they were "wicked fun". They fit right in!
Paula & Kathy smoked 200 wings, Pulled Pork for lunch, and created their own sauces. YUM!
Kim shined with her 14 cheese Fruit & Cheese 🧀 Platter. Freshly prepared onsite. Even though her cooking skills equal raw or burnt (her words) she gave it a go on Saturday night. No reports of illnesses 😉.
Brenda's wings? Do I remember wings? It was the champagne. I DO remember Pineapple in a wonderful sauce.
Zeke brought and cooked Sausages. He was talked into cooking for the remainder of the evening. I'm not quite sure if it was talked into or he was abandoned at the grilling site 😝
Elizabeth added a Black Bean and Corn Salad that I could not get enough of. 😋
This, along with London Brooks, HB, Hot Dogs, Scallops over Linguine, Grilled Veggies w/Balsamic & Feta, I could go on and on...
We did the Time Warp at midnight on Saturday. Thanks to Dirtyville for inviting us once again to this tradition. It was a BLAST!
We were sadly missing 3 of our key people this year. Jed Summer and Billy. They had "adulting" to do. BOO! It truly changed the dynamics and they were TRULY missed by all.
Well, if anyone has anything else to highlight, please do. Champagne, gives memory lapses 😏
