This was my 5th consecutive year photographing the Obusan family! What an honor to be able to watch these two kids grow up every summer! They stay at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, so it's only fitting to do their session there. Talk about sun-drenched session! We had the best time running around the beach as the kids showcased their personalities. Thank you for trusting me again to capture your beautiful family!

I was able to fit in the L's family session during a very busy summer week in Acadia! We had to do a slightly earlier session than normal, but thankfully the lighting turned out great! These two girls were very active and their parents didn't hesitate to chase after them and we got so many great play-based photos! I loved that they were so go-with-the-flow because it makes the photos that much better in the end!

I don't even know how I could narrow down these previews any more than this, because I'm in love with all of them! The Spillmann family booked me 15 months ago in anticipation of their trip to Maine, and I'd have to say that I think this session was worth the wait! I showed them a few of my favorite locations in Acadia National Park and we spent the evening exploring and having the best time together! I loved being able to showcase their personalities, as well as the stunning Maine scenery!

I was invited to photograph the C family at a private estate in Bar Harbor with the most stunning view! Due to busy season and weather, we had to fit this one in on an early morning instead of my typical evening time slot. I wasn't sure how the lighting would be, but I think it really worked out great! The brightness really showcases the beautiful coastline in the background. They were such a sweet family and I'm so glad we could make this work!

I'm back in the groove and starting to send out previews and galleries again! First up is this foggy Acadia session! Grace and her sister visited Maine together with their husbands and kids, and although the fog started rolling in soon after their session started, we were able to get some really great photos! This is my second time photographing this family, and I'm so glad they trusted me again! I know how overwhelming it can feel when kids are being kids, and I do my best to assure parents that we will not only get great photos of them looking at the camera, but also that their kids' personalities will shine! Even the little guy, who had just woken up from a nap, was very reluctant to be in photos, but by the end of the session, he warmed up to me a bit :)

It's been 10 years since I've seen the L family after they moved out of state, so I was thrilled that they reached out to me when they were recently visiting Maine! Between both of our schedules, we could only fit in an afternoon mini session, and we decided to go back to Viles Arboretum in Augusta, where we had done our last family session together so long ago! These girls are full of life and energy and we had a great time exploring together!

It's been awhile since I've been to Marginal Way - what a great place for photos in Southern Maine! I'm loving these families who are getting photos taken with their teenagers - because this is an important stage in life too! With one headed to study abroad, and one about to graduate high school, the M family is about to only have one child living at home! I hope they're able to look back of these photos we took of them while they were vacationing in Ogunquit and hold tight to these memories while they were all still together!

I realized I never shared more photos that I took of my husband and kids this Spring! This was such a last minute thing, and I'm so glad we did it! Next year, my goal is to find someone else to take the photos so I can get in them! I'm also hoping to offer these sessions to clients next year, so let me know if you'd be interested! My youngest was not feeling it, but thankfully my older son and daughter are old enough to be bribed for photos now :)
