Guess what?! Lupine Mini Sessions are now open for booking! I've only done a handful of these the last few years, but I've decided to offer more this year, and I'm so excited!
Dates? June 1 and 2
Times? 5:45-8:15pm
Location? Central Maine
Cost? $275 (+sales tax) for a 20 minute session and 20+ images

I'm a little behind on sharing these, but I was invited to this beautiful family's home around Christmastime to capture the whole crew together! I loved this so much because so many families out there only see each other once or twice a year, and this family wanted to put aside time to get photos together, regardless of the freezing cold weather outside! Just goes to show that we don't need a fancy coastal backdrop to create memories - just Grandma and Grandpa's cozy living room and front porch!

Julie and Mark were married recently, and wanted to get some portraits taken on the coast of Maine where they reside. We just pretended it wasn't the middle of winter, and I bundled up and met them at Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth right before sunset one evening. Back in November, I met with Bella and Peter in downtown Portland for their engagement session! It was chilly and a little cloudy, which was perfect weather for cuddling up together! I loved getting to know them and exploring the old cobblestone streets of the Old Port. I'm so looking forward to their wedding this June in New Hampshire!

As part of a First Year Milestone photo package, I went to the home of the L family to photograph little baby Lane at 3 months old! It was chilly outside, but we got some photos around the yard, as well as inside. The two toddlers kept us on our toes, while Lane just went along for the ride, much like a 3rd child does! Little Lane is so sweet, I can't wait to see him again at 6 months old!

Next up is the Lobley Family! From their wedding day to now photographing their sweet baby girl - what an honor! One thing I love about family sessions is being able to capture kids in a specific stage of life, including their milestones, like this little one who was just discovering her tongue! I spent December finishing up all of my editing for the year, plus doing all of the Christmas things, but I'm finally back and ready to share the last of my 2024 sessions! First up, the Tolley Family at Frederickson's Tree Farm! What an honor to photograph this family for the 6th time! They drive all the way up from NH each year, and are probably the nicest people you will ever meet - and so darn photogenic too!

Nunzi and Brad met through this golf course, so of course we had to go there for their engagement session! We had a beautiful evening together, they drove me all around the course and showed me their favorite places (including a tree grove where so many of Brad's golf balls have ended up)! We were blessed with beautiful fall leaves, and a very cool cloudy sunset sky (I didn't add any color to that sky - it was that cool in person!). When I met Nunzi some 10 or so years ago, I never could have imagined that I would get to witness her finding her true love, and photographing their wedding at this same golf course next year!

I still have more weddings to share from this past wedding season! Priyanka and John brought their immediate family to Maine to get married at Moose Pond in Denmark! They wanted to do things their own way, which made their elopement very unique. They got ready together, and then walked down the aisle together as their family cheered them on. During their ceremony, officiated by John's mother, they stated "intentions" instead of vows, and had all of the guests sign a decorative marriage license. My favorite detail was the protea flowers (my favorite flower ever!), which lined the tablescape, decorated the arbor, and were even on the cake! Congratulations you two - I hope you have a wonderful life together!

Another year photographing the beautiful Myers family! We tried out a new location - Woodward Point in Brunswick. The Sanders family was visiting Maine for the first time recently and took the opportunity to get some updated family portraits with some breathtaking Acadia scenery! Schoodic Point is much more quiet than the main island, so we didn't even see anyone else there that day! It was chilly and windy, but they were champs and the boys loved exploring the blueberry bushes and building piles of stones. I *think* this may have been my last Acadia session of the year - can't wait until next season!

Daija is my hair stylist, and she does an incredible job on curly/wavy hair! For her wedding anniversary this year, she wanted to get dressed up with her husband, and go back to her venue, Flaherty's Farm Event Barn, for some photos! Afterwards, we went to Higgins Beach to capture the beautiful sunset and play in the ocean! She wore her original wedding shoes and wedding jewelry, but found a new dress for this session! The Williams family came to Maine recently all the way from Oklahoma! For Mom's birthday, all she wanted were beautiful family portraits in Maine, and I was honored to be able to do that for her! We met at their hotel - Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth - which has a boardwalk connecting to the beach. I don't usually do morning sessions, but it was the only time they could fit this in their schedule, so we made it happen! This family was so sweet and fun to photograph!

I couldn't have asked for a better evening with the Leathe Family! This was my first time meeting them, and this was also their first family photo session they've ever done! We explored one of their favorite places to go as a family - Kettle Cove! Lots of rock climbing, playing in the sand, and enjoying the beautiful sunset :)

I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect evening for Riggs and Kate's engagement session at Two Lights State Park! They're from Maryland, and were in town for a few days, so we snuck in this session while they were here recently. With the breathtaking rocky coastline, this park is a gem in Southern Maine! To top it off, we got a colorful sunset, and I even was able to get a few cool silhouettes with the lighthouse! I'm so excited for their wedding in June of next year!
