Good morning, here's the latest update from 6.30 am today. Hopefully we'll see rain and not significant wind. Let's keep all of the firefighters in our thoughts and prayers.
It's difficult to make sure we're giving you absolutely accurate updates. We don't have an office to go to and most of us don't have homes to go to at the moment either, camping out in the homes of friends and relatives. We'll do our best to pass on things we know, but that may change.
In terms of the main ranch, all of our buildings are currently safe, the firefighters were able to hold the fire at the canal, and it wasn't able to jump to Eagle ridge. It ran through Alexander, parts of Green Ridge and most of Sulzer gulch from above the canal.
All of the horses that are in the Big Valley or at friends farms are doing great. As of last night Bo and Hawke were both still recovering from surgery and doing better than expected, but they have a very long road ahead. I will try to get more details on them today and do a separate post. Thank you to everyone who has donated to our GoFundMe. I managed to get it linked in our Instagram bio and I will add it to all stories.
Finally a huge Thank You to all of the teams fighting this fire, you saved the ranch and we will never forget that.

Imagine if, overnight, all the furniture and art you’ve poured your heart and soul into transforming and creating were suddenly destroyed and considered a total loss. In an instant, your livelihood and all your hard work, gone, and you have to start your business all over again. Insurance will cover a portion of it, but not nearly enough. What would you do? Where would you start? Would you even be able to start over after such a tragedy?

One thing I love about this community is how we come together to support each other during tough times. Sometimes it's just a word of encouragement, but we always do our best to lift each other up.

Recently, one of our own, Stacey Darling, Renewed Spirit Home faced a devastating loss, and I’m asking that we rally around her in this time of need. She'd never ask for help, yet she'd be the first to offer it. I know firsthand how much she has poured into our community and how daunting it is to start again.

I considered setting up a GoFundMe, but their fees mean not everything would go directly to her. After some research, I found that direct donations via PayPal or Venmo are the best way to help. Let's give back to someone who has given so much to us.

These funds will help her cover expenses related to the loss and restock her inventory so she can start painting again and building herself and her business back up from scratch. Together, we can help her overcome this loss allowing her to create beautiful new works of art for us all to enjoy.
