Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo 😍😋
Ingredients 📋
12 ounces fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions 🥣
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to thicken.
Stir in the grated Parmesan and Romano cheeses until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat with the Alfredo sauce. Add the sliced chicken on top.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
