Today was the 8th annual Aurora Fire Museum Chili Cookoff day! This is a fundraiser to help support the fire museum and all of the wonderful opportunities it provides for our community.

Well it was a 3-Peat!! 🎉🏆 We took the trophy for BOTH “Judges Choice” and “Fire Museum Choice” for our Gramma Peacock’s Way Chili. This year we offered a twist on our typical award-winning chili, an homage to our great grandma Peacock. She spent most of her life in the kitchen, cooking and feeding our amazing family! Our chili was topped with Gramma’s famous Corn Bake along with a dollop of honey butter, using honey from our very own bees. We’re so proud of this creation and the trophies represent how much love we have for grandma. Thank you to our fans for the wonderful support, and we’ll see you next year!! 🍓🍓🍓

Ok folks! Last night of the food truck court at Luminara! Downtown AURORA, tonight is the drone show. Food service from the trucks is from 6 PM to 10 PM. Great eats, great people, great fun!

We have ribs, brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken and all the homemade sides!! Don’t miss our massive pulled pork nachos!! 🍓🙌🏻

Wanted to give a huge shout out to West Aurora High School and especially for inviting us to do this year’s Homecoming Fundraiser! We prepared and served 236 meals for supporters and gave the team a big bump in funds! The student and teacher volunteers were amazing and everything went incredibly well! Thanks again for choosing Strawberries BBQ and we can’t wait until next time!!
