Good morning parents,

As you are aware, many organizations are releasing advisories or informational updates regarding their plans to enhance safety practices given the uncertainty around COVID-19 virus. Organizations our school participates in, including the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association, have suspended the remainder of the competitive season.

After reviewing the social distancing recommendations of the CDC, WHO and local health advisories, we have decided to cancel tonight’s instrumental music concert out of an abundance of caution.

We hope you have a healthy and restorative spring break, and look forward to resuming activities after the break.

Hello Parents, Guardians and Friends

The annual Mattress Fundraiser will soon be upon us. This has event has proven to be one of our biggest Fundraisers of the year.

In preparation for this upcoming event, there will be a Mattress Fundraiser meeting on Monday, March 2 at 6:30pm in the Music Room.

This meeting will discuss not only opportunities to raise funds for the Gateway High School Performing Arts, but also an opportunity for students to put cash in their pockets.

Please, please, please attend this meeting to get more information.

We need 75 or more parents to attend in order to earn a $500 bonus!

Hello everyone we need your support! Do you shop at King Soopers? If so please consider helping FOTPA earn funds to support students in the performing arts program. It's so easy and simple all you need to do is scan your King Soopers card everytime you shop. The more people we get signed up and registered the faster we can get funds to kids who need it. Another great concert tonight. Thank you to everyone who came out, and for those that couldn’t make it you missed some great music. I’m posting some of the concert but it is so much better live. Please keep an eye out for future concerts we would love to see you there.

If you didn’t come out and hear the vocal concert tonight you missed an awesome concert. I’ll post some videos but it sounds much better in person. Please consider coming out tomorrow night for the Olympian Jazz Cafe at 6:30 pm in the Media Center and on Thursday night the Instrumental Concert at 7:00.
