SHENANIGANS RENTAL FEE.

After much thought and discussion we have decided upon one price for grounds and Stable, $50 per hr. We will be dropping grounds only. This rate is for booked events only, private! You must reserve date, fill out contract and sign liability waiver. For those that already have dates booked this rate will apply to you also.

For the multitude of summer visitors that simply want to enjoy Honey Creek, hike, photograph or do art work, for a limited time, there will still be a request for donation of your choice to keep our grounds beautiful. You will also be asked to sign liability waiver.

In the long run this will allow many more folks to enjoy our facilities, more orderly, lesser cost, enjoy and return.

If you are looking for your perfect country venue. beautiful Honey Creek, immaculate grounds, children and pet friendly, acres to run and play. Many beautiful locations for weddings or alter on site in the Garden Party. Spring, summer and fall florals everywhere. planted plus wildflowers, bonfires and cook out and camping. Come check us out for wedding or any type of gathering for any age. Valentines coming up soon!

Handicap accessible, water faucet, porta pot, Stable has fans PLUS seven doors open up for an open air pavilion type appearance.

There is corn hole, tic tac toe, rock collection, Indian Artifacts, hiking, photography, treasure dig, creek play, fishing, hiking and Big Foot, checkers, vintage record player and vinyl vintage music. Much more, everywhere you gaze there is something to see or do.

Stable is unique, one of kind, will easily seat 75 with more overflow to outside.

It will be posted Online and at gate if and when private event is in progress.

If the gate is open, we are open. All seasons there is something for kids to do. Treasure dig, tic tac toe, hiking trail. There are numerous acres to run and play.

Jukebox didn't work out so has been replaced with a vintage console with a couple hundred vintage records. They are so fun to play, listen to or dance.

We will have a photographer on grounds, April 13th, you will soon see Trisha's announcement.
Weddings have never been a priority but rather children and families. Redesigning the wedding arbor so it will be wedding ready, mix match, vintage seating or choice of bride and groom. Or any place on grounds designed by wedding couple.
Paddock will now be identified as Garden Party, so to be a memory location of many events.
Fridays will be "Friday Bazaar" anything you choose to sell. This will begin when weather warms.
Churches for Sunday services or baptisms are welcome as well as Celebrations of Life.
We strive to keep grounds Immaculate, a clean porta pot, running water faucet, handicap accessible. We do not have AC.
Throw your "wants" our way and we will see what we can do. Maybe even bingo day....anyone interested in that?
We are currently cleaning up felled tree mess and wishing away the winter gloom. Soon the spring florals will be popping up thus beautiful back drop for photos....Trisha?

My heart goes out to the children that enjoy SHENANIGANS.

WHAT would you like so see for them to do here? Number one is our Nature Class beginning in Feb., weather permitting. We will be making a nature sash.

Secondly we will have make a mini mushroom class. These will be totally designed by each child to take home.

Adult ideas also....

Fridays we will beginning Selling Bazaar, anything and everything may sell or barter. Food, garden surplus, chickens, rabbits, eggs, clothing, new or used items, plants and on and on.

Please throw in your ideas!!!

SHENANIGANS gate is open, really wet, packing snow don't know how well that works for sledding. Park at road and walk to east hill (left). 2160 has been plowed.

I will open gate to SHENANIGANS in the morning if there is enough snow....don't have s'more stuff on hand but I can get a good bonfire going. We have a porta pot. Park on hilltop by gate, walk down to over to the east slope.

This spring or earlier, if weather is nice we will be open every week for FRIDAY BAZAAR. VENDORS MAY SELL ANTHING. It might take a bit of time to build a buyer clientele but word travels fast.

Would there be interest in a monthly sales opportunity at SHENANIGANS? I have a lady interested in supervising it. SALES OF ANYTHING, junk, plants, produce, garage sale, crafts, chickens, ducks, puppies, baked and canned goods, fresh food such as tamales. Whatever, you have to sell. I am thinking Fridays, since many times we have events on Sat. Plus so many other sales going on Saturdays. If it takes off we could even have a food vendor. We have a porta pot, running fresh water, plenty of parking.
