One of my favorite posts to share! In 2017 we planned Jessica and Rafe's wedding. Five years later we got to plan Angela (Jessica's sister) and Tony's wedding. We loved working with all the families, but especially the brides' family, the Rumoros. Both ceremonies were at one of the most beautiful churches in the suburbs - St. John the Baptist in Winfield.⁠

Part two of Mia and Clay's wedding is absolutely breathtaking! There are so many incredible photos, it's difficult to decide which ones to post! The "Beauty and the Beast" theme was a huge success, with beautiful details throughout the entire day and night. One moment that stood out was when we surprised the newlyweds by having the servers bring out the first course in a parade-like fashion, complete with singing and dancing to "Be Our Guest"! It was such a fantastic and enjoyable celebration for all!⁠

On January 13th of this year, Alyssa and Cole's wedding marked the beginning of our wedding season! Throughout my career, I have obviously attended a considerable number of weddings. However, Elli and Jason's wedding stands out as one of the most enjoyable ones I have experienced. The bride, who happens to be a professional dancer, along with many guests, ensured that the night was filled with captivating entertainment. It meant so much for Megan and Brandon not to see each other before their wedding ceremony. Because of the logistics of the venue being an all glass pavilion, we rehearsed the day before that Brandon would have his back to the aisle until Megan was at the beginning of it with her father - when the officiant then told Brandon to turn around. The moment was perfect!⁠

Some couples love doing a first look and some couples don't want to see each other before the ceremony. There are pros and cons for both, but it's ultimately a decision the couple should make and it's their planner's and other vendors' jobs to execute their vision!⁠

If you are not Persian or have never attended a Persian wedding ceremony, you may not be familiar with "Sofreh Aghd". In Farsi the word "sofreh" means 'spread' and "aghd" means 'ceremony'. There are many symbolic items which make up the Sofreh Aghd spread such as a mirror, honey, spices, sugar canes and more.⁠
