Amy & John 11.16.2024

This weekend, we’re so excited to celebrate Amy and John as they tie the knot at Loft28West!

Their love story began back in 2018 at Illinois State University, where they met through a mutual friend in Amy’s sorority. John was playing baseball, Amy was in a sorority, and little did they know, their paths were about to align forever.

Fast forward a few years, and their love has taken them on a wild, beautiful adventure. With John playing baseball professionally and Amy & their (pup) son, Ryder embracing the nomadic lifestyle, these two have truly mastered the art of doing life together.

John proposed in the most magical way—on a snowy Chicago rooftop after Amy’s birthday. Now, they’re back in the Chicago area to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by family, friends, and so much love.

16 years after meeting in 6th grade and 6 years of dating, Keely and Kevin are getting married this weekend! They share a love of exploring restaurants in Chicago, board games, and having quiet Sunday mornings in their condo. They cannot wait to start their new adventure as a married couple and are so thankful for their loved ones who have helped to make this such a special time!

Morgan & Brendan 10.12.24

Morgan and Brendan’s love story began in 2021, and after two wonderful years together, Brendan planned the perfect proposal. On July 15, 2023, he told Morgan they were going on a boat tour in Chicago, but as they walked toward the dock, a woman approached them claiming to be a new social media creator. She asked to take a few photos of them, and after a couple of shots, Brendan turned to Morgan, expressed his love, and got down on one knee, asking her to marry him!

The couple then took engagement photos at Milton Lee Park and returned home to what Morgan thought would be a quiet celebration with Brendan’s parents. Instead, Brendan had planned a surprise engagement party with their closest friends and family. Now, they’re ready to celebrate their marriage at Loft28West, and we couldn’t be more excited for them!

Nicole & Tom 10.05.24

Nicole and Tom’s love story is one for the ages! They went to the same high school but didn’t meet until years later, starting as friends before falling in love. Nicole knew Tom was the one during his last semester away at school, and now, after 10 years together, they’re tying the knot here at Loft28West! They share a passion for golfing, Chicago sports, live music, pizza, and, of course, being the ultimate cat parents to their 4 fur babies. We are thrilled to be part of their special day!
