Hi Facebook fam. Just a quick update on my recovery. I want to thank all of you who have been donating. This has been as much a financial recovery as a physical recovery. I would be in a lot worse shape if it wasn’t for your support, so again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep an eye on your inbox, I’m going to be inviting you plus one to a big party in November so I can thank everyone in person.
It’s been 6 months since I was released from the hospital. At that point I could barely wiggle my fingers or lift my arm above my hip. I struggled to take more than three or four steps and I was unable to work resulting in mounting debt and an uncertain future. Thank you to Stewart Ramser and Jeff Smith for stepping in and organizing this GoFundMe campaign. I had originally predicted that the recovery would set me and my business back around $25,000. Because of the quick response to my campaign, I was able to manage my business expenses and personal finances. As I reevaluate now, this whole episode is coming in around eight thousand dollars less than my original prediction. Since May, I’ve been slowly recovering.
By July I was able to drive again and return to some semblance of normality. I still struggle to walk and I cannot write or type very well, but I’m grateful to be alive and I’m now a nonsmoker for over six months! Thanks to everyone who donated at the time I needed it most.
I was able to get through the summer and I have been regaining my health, although it’s slow and steady.
As the fall season approaches and we start getting into the colder months, my work schedule begins to chill as well, so I’m going to have to crank up this gofundme campaign one last time.
Like I said earlier, I’m gonna have a big party in November to show you what I’ve been able to accomplish while in recovery, and I’m pretty damn excited to tell everyone, but for now I just want you to share this campaign with your people and if you’re able, please donate.

Gonna have to call Cory and ask for permission to use this as the Meshed Up Productions theme song. Here at Meshed Up, the workers are the boss. When you hire us to do the sound production for your event, the sound team gets half of the profits and the rest goes to paying the bills and maintaining the company’s assets.

Thankful to have made another successful trip out to west Texas to support the Viva Big Bend music festival! 10 venues, 5 towns and 65 bands over 4 days. We provide sound, lights, and audio technicians for all of it. That’s what we do. !
Thank you to all the amazing fans and musicians who raised close to $2500 for me. We are approaching the halfway point in my campaign to make me whole again. I literally had just enough gas to get out there. Your donations helped keep my vans on the road and helped care for my crew, who are the ones who make it possible for me to do these festivals.
This is a marathon, not a sprint. I’m still a long way from being able to live free of the effects of the stroke. Probably it will take another year or more and the financial effects are still very real. Please donate if you are able to and please spread awareness and kindness in the world.
