Folks! We are so stoked to announce the return of two staff favorite drinks around here. The first being DAIMYO, a Japanese inspired Rice Lager (now in cans!!!). As well as THE SPRITZ, a thirst quenching aperitif based seltzer cocktail. Read on for some fun details about these beverages.
DAIMYO 🍚
A premium 5% abv Japanese Rice Lager brewed with traditional methods to achieve what we feel is a looking glass into the history of Japanese Lager. We sourced some high quality polished Sake Rice, a bit of Koji fermented & dehydrated rice, and of course some of the finest Pilsner malt around. This lager first undergoes an extensive mash regiment in order to cook the rice using steam. After this stage is done we cool, mix in the Koji rice and a bit of barley, rest, then we utilize multiple step mash points with the remaining pilsner malt. Boiled with a delicate addition of Saaz and Tettnanger hops. From there we brew Lager as we typically do, slow and cold ferment throughout, naturally carbonated, and clarity is achieved without the aids of finings or filtration. Lagered 12 weeks cold. Upon the first sip you can expect notes of fresh bread, limoncello, honeysuckle, and fermented tea, with a dryness that lends itself to endless drinkability. Come by, have a couple, and then stock your fridge with this easy drinking premium lager.
THE SPRITZ 🍊
We sourced some incredible Apertivo from Antica Erboristeria Cappelletti, who first started production in 1906. Cappelletti Apertivo may be the oldest style of the classic red bitter still in production, and unlike similar products, is made with 100% natural ingredients and every single batch is blended by taste.
This is then hand mixed with our super clean 17% abv hard seltzer base, a bit of Rambler sparkling water, and garnished with an orange slice. Classic stuff here folks. Insanely refreshing.
