Bounce is hiring for an in-office, full-time Events Operations Manager, responsible for managing logistics, tasks and timelines for a variety of clients, events and account leads. The candidate must be a highly-motivated self-starter, extremely detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and be ready to support strategic planning, as well as ex*****on and oversight of year-round events and other client-related needs. Experience planning, working and managing complex projects and/or events is a major plus.
Being highly organized, efficient and team-oriented is essential to this position. Our ideal candidate is focused, pays attention to minute details and prides themselves on completing tasks with a high level of accuracy. They are fully prepared for every contingency and openly share those preparation details with other team members. Lastly, this candidate must be available to provide logistics support at in-person events throughout the year, often on weekends, both locally and nationally.
Responsibilities
Support account leads with operational and logistics support for a variety of clients
Direct and assist with administrative tasks
Manage and track multiple projects with time-sensitive deliverables
Create timelines, workflows, schedules and reports, both internally and client-facing
Communicate updates and tasks with account leads and be ready to make changes as necessary based upon client workflows
Understand and manage project timelines; keep account leads on track and ensure client and internal work stays on-time and on-budget
Research, contact and follow-up with other businesses (vendors, suppliers, media outlets, etc.)
Become familiar with and lead city permitting processes, complete applications, meet with city officials and keep track of permitting deadlines
Coordinate and be on-site to manage setup/breakdown for events; coordinate with city officials - police, EMS, barricades, etc. - as well as other officials
Be able to review and understand all aspects of an event - footprint, sitemap, vendor needs, client needs and schedule/coordinate event security, activations, power, sound and lighting, etc.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of strong operational experience with examples of detail-oriented work
Experience planning, managing or working events is a major plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Team-player who understands the importance of collaboration
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, service-oriented environment
Eager to think outside the box and come up with novel solutions to various problems/scenarios without being prompted
Available and willing to work weekends, as needed
