I realize that the last time I introduced myself on here I was pregnant with a whole ass child, and since we have plenty of new faces around here I thought I’d take a minute to share a little bit about myself!!

Howdy, I’m Hannah. I am an Austin native, and have been working in the floral space for 5 years. Weddings are my bread and butter, however I also offer a variety of different services, from weekly flower subscriptions, to intimate events like birthdays and showers, and flower arranging classes. I am a wife and mama to 8 month old violet and she is my big “why”. In my spare time I enjoy Pilates and shamelessly wandering the aisles of target.

There’s something so magical about a fall/winter color palette that really recharges my creative energy. It has been so nice getting back into the swing of things after taking a break to celebrate my own wedding festivities, and back to back events as well as some much needed studio time this weekend was just what the doctor ordered ✨✨

It’s giving sugar plum realness ✨ y’all to be honest this month has been CRAZY. Taking a step back to recharge and rejuvenate has been absolutely vital, and yet there’s nothing I love more than taking an afternoon to design for my own creative energy. This arrangement is a personal favorite and features these gorgeous David Austin garden roses, sweet peas, and burgundy scabiosas and I couldn’t be more pleased with how this color palette came together. My books are open for fall 2022-spring 2023, so be sure to reach out if you have an event coming up!!

Alright y’all, here it is: my top tips for choosing the florist that’s right for you and your partner!

1. Start planning EARLY!!- we all know that you have a ton of options to choose from, so starting to think about what you’re looking for as soon as possible is going to be your best asset when it comes to wedding planning

2. Pinterest is your bestie- here’s the deal: we have all planned our fantasy wedding on Pinterest, but if you haven’t, start a board of aesthetics and flowers you like to get a feel for what your personal style is. This can also help your florist identify what fits that vision and works within your budget.

3. Don’t blow your budget- I know, I know. It’s tempting to want a wall of garden roses that trail up into the ceiling for your big day, but if you are firm on what amount you want to spend on flowers, stick to it! Choosing the right florist will ensure you get the look you’re going for without having to sell your soul for it.

4. Do your research- Just like Pinterest, google is also your best friend. Researching florists, costs and specific flowers you like is so important when thinking about your special day.

5. Weigh your options- When considering your options, take a deep breath and try not to stress. Consider these factors: artistic style, best value, and even how you mesh with the vendors. Trust your gut and celebrate the fact that you’re one step closer to the best day ever!!!
