✨ SEVEN YEARS ✨ of Planning and Designing Weddings as CMDesigns Weddings! How can this be!?

To celebrate, I’m going to share some fun facts about me-

✨ I founded CMDesigns Weddings in April 2016! That month I booked my first two weddings for October of that same year!
✨Before starting CMDesigns Weddings, I assisted my mom as a coordinator, planner, and designer for 6 years!
✨ I am a mom to a super sweet, sassy, charismatic, strong-willed, caring, creative little boy! Mateo will be 4 in July!
✨ I married my bestie in July of 2017!
✨ I love watching movies and trying new restaurants!
✨ I mostly listen to 70s and 80s music!
✨ I also love to listen to podcasts. Mostly podcasts about wedding or wedding businesses!
✨ I don’t drink coffee, so my go to order is an iced chai latte with vanilla cold foam!
✨ I LOVE Dr Pepper!
✨ My go to drink order is an Old Fashioned 🥃
✨ I LOVE to travel! ✈️

HAPPY NEW YEAR ✨

We are so thankful for the amazing year we've had! This year, we had the opportunity to work with beautiful couples, most of which, are now great friends! We love what we do, because we get to meet amazing people, make their most special days beautiful, and make their life long wedding dreams come true!

We couldn't do it without the awesome, and passionate vendors we get to work with every day! One of our goals for this year was to build relationships with vendors that were more than just an emailed timeline, and a quick phone call before the big day. We are so glad to have worked hard at this goal this year, because we made some really great friends that share our same passion and love for weddings.

Last, but not least, I am so thankful to have met Paige, and to have had her on my team this year! She was the perfect person to have by my side on any wedding day, and helped keep me calm and collected. I will miss her as she moves on to work for Disney in the spring, but I am so thankful for the time we shared.

Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday! ✨ I am so thankful to have made it to this year!

I am so proud to say I do what I love, and that, at only 27, I have built an amazing company that helps beautiful couples everyday, and helps other people find what they love and want to do too!

It isn’t always easy juggling being a mom, a wife, a business owner, and so much more, while helping plan {like} 20 weddings at once. But moments like the one in this picture make it so worth it- me, helping a bride feel beautiful and ready to walk down the aisle on her special day.

I hope you all are having a beautiful holiday season! Merry Christmas Eve!

Private serenade ✨
So many of my sweet couples have opted for a private last dance as their guests line up for the grand exit, including this one. The groom contacted me before the wedding, letting me know he wanted to surprise serenade his bride with a song he wrote for her instead.😍 All vendors involved were having trouble keeping their composure through watery eyes!

Headed back home today after a week full of learning and growing at the wedding MBA in Vegas!✨
My husband and I came together, because he is a major part of this company, but after leaving he is so excited to take on more, so that I can focus on catering to my couples!
We had the amazing opportunity to learn from leaders in our community. They gave us so much insight. Somethings we didn’t know, somethings we knew and needed their push to make a change. We also met different exhibitors that provide services and software that can help us to grow, but also help keep our focus on our client and not on all of the behind the scenes things that take place!
Along the way, we met amazing people from all over that do what we do and also have a passion and love for the industry!
We are so excited to get back and implement everything that we learned to better serve our business and our amazing couples!
