The Austin ISD Fine Arts Department seeks a Coordinator of Fine Arts for the 25-26 school year; this role offers the chance to shape arts education, helping students build confidence, discipline, and creativity. The Coordinator will be a key leader in driving success and ensuring the arts remain central to AISD. They will work on a team with 3 other administrators to support 400+ Fine Arts Teachers and 50,000+ Fine Arts Students. The position will begin in July of 2025.

🎶Let’s celebrate the incredible achievements of 18 outstanding Band, Choir, Jazz Band, and Orchestra students from Austin ISD! 🎶 These talented musicians have earned the prestigious honor of being named Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Musicians — the highest recognition for student musicians in Texas! 🌟
After months of rigorous auditions, these students will proudly represent Austin ISD at the TMEA State Convention in San Antonio, Feb. 12-15. There, they’ll showcase their skills under the leadership of esteemed conductors, performing for an audience of thousands.

Starting Monday, Jan. 20th, the Austin ISD PAC garage will charge hourly fees for non-AISD use due to increased public demand from surrounding businesses. Managed by Movilio Parking Management, the garage now features license plate readers, cameras, parking attendants and will include English/Spanish signage with payment instructions. https://www.movilio.io/
