The sweetest, most genuine getting ready photos while a winter wonderland was forming outside. I loved the pace of Drew and Katie’s wedding day. All the girls got together at Katie and her roommate’s (old) house in the morning and just literally spent time with one another all day.

Nothing was rushed. Truly, nothing was even stressful. In fact, that morning the videographer called and said he couldn’t make it in because of all the snow and road closures and by a miracle at the exact same time, one of the bridesmaids was grabbing a coffee and ran into a local friend/videographer and he was able to take over filming the day!

I’m a big believer than the energy you bring to your day matters. I challenge you to try and enjoy it;)

Capturing the love of these high school sweethearts at Mae’s Ridge was truly an honor! From a private first look and vows (and some tears) and ceremony with their furry babies by their side, to a packed dance floor that radiated joy, every moment was filled with love and laughter. Even a weather change couldn’t dampen their spirits, as the rain held off just for them! I loved how they changed into sweats for their grand exit—talk about the perfect end to a beautiful day! Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness together, Emily and Cooper!

Ughhh my heart literally explodes looking at these pictures. It’s always a gift to be chosen to photograph someone’s wedding, but to be asked by one of my longest friends is an entirely special privilege.

Drew and Katie, you are both magnetic. I’ve known this fact about Drew for years. His kindness, openness, acceptance and loving nature, but I got to see and experience his match in Katie last week. She is all of these things to their fullest. What an honor to spend time with you both and capture your love.

Not to mention, how incredible is it that it literally snowed the ENTIRE day of their wedding?! haha. It was truly the perfect magical winter wonderland for the Lawler’s 🤍✨

Last week, I had the privilege of traveling to Colorado to shoot a wedding that was personally very special to me. One of my longest and dearest friends married the love of his life and asked me to capture their day. Drew has been one of the most steadfast, true, and honest friends I have ever had the honor of knowing. He is someone with whom I can fully and authentically be myself. Drew has made me feel safe to do this by leading by example. He shows up as his full and authentic self everywhere he goes; so naturally, when he first told me about Katie, I knew without a doubt how special she was and that I would love her.
Before this trip, I hadn’t met Katie in person, aside from video calls and phone conversations. I am excited (and not surprised) to report that she is everything Drew bragged about and more. Her entire friend group welcomed me as one of their own, even hosting and feeding me during the several days I was in town. I witnessed firsthand the testimony of her character and kindness time and again from those who are around her daily, both at work and in everyday life.
To say it was my honor to photograph your wedding doesn’t fully capture how I feel—it was truly a gift to me. I love you both so dearly, and I can’t wait to see the life you build together and the positive impact you will make on people simply by the way you each live and love so well. If there was only one thing I could share about Luke and Carol, it’s that they love each other DEEPLY. Man, it’s crazy how inspiring and beautiful it is to be around two humans who care so much for one another. It was impossible to miss. They’re attention to each other’s experiences throughout the day. The way they spoke to and about one another. They way they interacted with touches and looks. The vows they wrote. Even the people that surrounded them on their day was such a testament to their love. They were such a laid back couple and it made for the smoothest, most relaxing and present wedding day (in addition to the absolute BOMB vendor team we had making every turn of the day seamless). Carol and Luke also spent every single second of their reception ON the dance floor with their friends, dancing and singing and celebrating. It was so much fun to capture and be a part of. What an honor to shoot your wedding day, friends. Thank you for sharing part of your stories with me. Cheers to the Martin’s!

It was love at first sight between me and the newly wed Lee’s. We met at their engagement session, where they informed me (after an hour of the biggest laughs and best times) that they had to hire a different wedding day photographer due to the sort of all inclusive package that came with the planning company they chose to go with for their wedding**GASPS** Cut to a few months later, I get a message that essentially says screw it and they want to still work with me for their wedding! Thus our love story continued! Haha Genie and Jo are both SO kind, loving, hilarious and fun to be around. Every person present had nothing but praises to sing of them as individuals and their love together. I’m so grateful that I met these two and even more so that I got to capture the day they committed to one another. Turns out that I had the BEST vendor team to collab with as well who made the whole day run completely seamless. Cheers to the Lee’s!

The easiest and dreamiest Boston session with these two angels a few days ago. On top of the fact that these two individuals are completely beautiful and fun in their own right, is my partners best friend, which made it icing on the cake that I got to photograph him and his boyfriend while in the city for less than 24 hours before flying back home!

This was the very last leg of a week long trip with my best friend and fellow wedding photographer (more photos and details of our adventures to come), but I can’t think of a more perfect last evening to round out an incredible week!

I am thrilled to introduce you to two of the kindest, most genuine souls, Mikayla and Zac Skees. Photographing their wedding this weekend was nothing short of a dream! Every detail of their stunning goth-inspired aesthetic was flawlessly executed—from the breathtaking florals and enchanting venue to the dress and beautifully crafted invites—all truly reflecting Mikayla’s unique style.
Zac and Mikayla’s laid-back approach set a relaxed tone for the day, making it feel effortless and beautiful as they exchanged heartfelt vows in the charming courtyard, blessed with perfect weather.

Where to even BEGIN with these two! I totally believe it was fate that we connected and I got the opportunity to travel to Wisconsin to shoot their wedding. Markki was looking for a photographer and found my work on Facebook that had been shared by a previous client of mine (shoutout Jess and Derek) who SO HAPPENED to have studied abroad with Markki in college! After my first call with Tyler and Markki, I knew it was a perfect fit. The way they complement one another’s personalities makes it so obvious why they work so well together. It was forecast to be pretty cloudy all day, but ended up being the most beautiful blue sky for their vineyard ceremony. Before the ceremony, we snuck away to a lighthouse for a few pics, followed by the ceremony and their hand written vows, and we ended the night off with fireworks. Tyler and Markki just truly freaking LOVE one another so much it was impossible to not get emotionally wrapped up in their day. I cried more than once. I wouldn’t change a single thing about the day. It was an HONOR to capture your wedding, friends. Thank you for having me out and for taking such good care of me while I was there. Cheers to the Falconers!

Tying the knot surrounded by nothing but stunning views and the best vibes. I think love and nature may be my favorite combo in the world.

Starting before dawn, exchanging vows as the sun peeks its head up. Chilly, intimate, and completely unforgettable. I wouldn’t have changed one detail.
