Hey all! Rebecca’s turn at an intro.

I started designing 12 years ago. The previous owner needed help setting up a wedding and I was “that nice girl at hobby lobby” she knew.

I showed up having no clue what I was in for.
And I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’m a single mom of two beauties, Gemma & Patrick.
Owing Exquisite petals is a life goal achieved. I keep learning more and more and that just continues to ignite my passion for this work.

When I’m not boss babe-ing it up..
I’m going for walks, listening to the Mel Robbins podcast.
Reading self help/ self development books (Dopamine Nation is the BOMB).
Watching movies. White Christmas is my fav of all time.
Or trying to sun bath while my kids cause chaos in some pool 🏊‍♂️

I am beyond grateful to be in this industry along so many other talented & passionate people.

Alex here, the lesser-seen half of the dynamic duo that co-own Exquisite Petals!

I like to joke that I’m a bunch of media references stacked up in a trench coat; if you’re looking for a wedding florist who can turn a deep-cut Friends quote into Star Trek joke, you found her. If you want someone who can help you pull off a tasteful Dungeons and Dragons theme wedding, please call me (please!!!)

I moved to Austin back in 2015 from Minneapolis, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a multi-focus in applied design, illustration, art methodology, and color theory. In case you couldn’t already tell, I’m a big ol’ nerd with a lot of deep passions, ha!

My art practice has evolved widely over the years, from watercolor painting to glassblowing (I did a brief apprenticeship in the UT Austin scientific glass lab) and floral was a very natural next step.

I absolutely love getting into the mind of my clients and understanding how they want their event to look and feel, then playing within the limitations of flowers as a medium to bring it to life. I adore sinking into an unusual aesthetic or fabricating a unique design for my clients — if you have an unconventional dream for your wedding, call EP and let’s make it happen!
