I saw the light!!! 🙌🏼 There are many reasons I love living in Austin, Texas. One of the reasons I moved here was humans like Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan resided here. Last night celebrated 50 years to the day the pilot episode was shot.

The evening was magical. Incredible energy in the air. So much love. Beautiful, heavy, fun, and cathartic at the same time. A few of his songs totally floored me. I cried at least three times. The Tom Waits cover "Last leaf" absolutely destroyed me. The moment was not lost on us that this could be the last time. Willie is the last of his kind. Circle of life friends. We are incredibly honored to have been there to witness this sacred magic.

Also, it must be noted that this is probably the longest Willie Nelson show I've ever seen. 21 songs! 🤩
