Day 39 Hondo Crouch Update
Thank you to everyone sending prayers, healibg energy and wonderful vibes our way. They are working!
I have such mad Respect for everyone using chemo. The 1st 2 weeks of infusions are worst, the daily study chemo and its fatigue and mental fog are omnipresent. The desire to accomplish and the inability to carry through. The frustrations that follow. Hondo's WILL TO LIVE is so strong.
Liver numbers are perfect. New scans and mri will be done on the 9th. We will have results on the 11th. The day of his next infusion.
Hondo's is fighting this battle for his life. He still goes to Cardiac Rehab on better days and looks forward to when we can all reunite. Until then, hug and spread our love to everyone.

Day 21 Hondo Crouch Update Infusion day #2 tomorrow, In addition to these infusions he, also, takes the study chemo twice a day. Prayers and loving energy for low ALT levels.

Update Time

Good news! Your positive energy and healing prayers are working! Hondo Crouch is now enrolled in the study to halt the replication of his cancer cells as targeted through his genetic mutation. He will be getting a medication only available, presently, as a last ditch effort. He gets to have it first. YAY!
He will also be taking Keytruda and a cocktail of other cancer and nausea killers.

Thankfully, in the study, the initial scans (PET, CT and MRI to establish new baselines), medications and CT scans every 6 weeks are covered. All other standard cancer care costs including infusions and doctor visits are ours.

Hondo is very thankful to be taking part in a study to help other people with lung cancer. As the initial test subject in Austin, he is guaranteed not to receive a placebo throughout the study.

PET today, MRI & CT Scan tomorrow. Blood tests next week. Getting real.

We, also, spent a fabulous 14th Wedding Anniversary together making some delicious enchiladas. I decided, if this was our first date, I would want to go on another.

We feel so lucky to be surrounded by so much LOVE!

Good News! Radiologists believe both masses in Hondo Crouch's brain were vaporized with one high density treatment each. Back to Oncologist tomorrow, blood tests and probably another MRI of the brain. Brain cancer must be gone before chemo/immunotherapy is begun.
Thank you for every bit of support so far. We are working for a miracle. Please continue with prayers, healing energy and financial support. Everything together is Working!

Good Morning! Hondo goes in for micro radiation on his brain today. We would appreciate all prayers and good energy for these masses to be vaporized and never return. May his caregivers wisdom be employed and be guided by the greatest of love.

Thank you! All of your prayers and healing energy are working! We received genomic testing results yesterday. Hondo has Stage 4 Lung Adenocarcinoma with a KRAS G12C Mutation. The cancer has spread from his lungs to 2 different locations in his brain and the hilar lymph node.

Our present strategies, while awaiting oncological guidance, are working to prevent even a milimeter of new growth. Prayer Works!

May 1st Hondo is fitted for his radiation mask to address the brain lesions. It is a process. This must be finished first.

About June 15, 6 months after the heart attack and stents, we can begin addressing the lung cancer. There is a study at Texas Oncology targeting the KRAS mutation with strong results.

We have an echocardiagram next week to address heart pain and its follow up appt and additional CT Scans to orient the microradiation. We have appreciated every tiny or large bit of your help to get here - through the heart attack, 3 cath labs, heart surgery in Jan and all to do with cancer thus far.

We aren't stopping now. Any continuing financial support, prayers and healing energy would be greatly appreciated. We love and appreciate all of you so much!

Hi kids. I know most of you know by now that I am battling prostate cancer that has spread to my bones, lymph nodes and brain. The month of April I'll be tied up with treatments...so...I'm playing a gig tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm at Lil' Darlin's in south Austin. It will be a beautiful afternoon and I would love to see y'all and play for y'all. Great food...it's an outdoor stage...great vibes. Come see me...so I can see you!

Hondo Crouch had a heart attack Thursday night. Thankfully, he received 2 stents and is now at home.
