The universal term - “DAY OF COORDINATOR” started a long time ago - I remember adding it to our services with my first wedding planning company and wondering if anyone would value the service because it was such a new idea. They did. This is why I’ve perfected our day of service for over 19 years now.

We aren’t sure who created the term, but most services alike begin at minimum a month before the wedding day. Our Day of Coordination begins 8-10 weeks before. It’s not really “Month of Coordination” either. But “2-Month of Coordination” isn’t that sticky.

There have been planners in the industry far and wide that have attempted to change the term to encompass that we actually can’t come in the same day of your wedding and do the job where it’s worth the money for you. Simply put - you can’t go into a wedding and know how to execute a perfect day if you don’t know anything about what the vision of the perfect day for the couple looks like. Like a director can’t direct a movie without knowing anything about the film. And you won’t have a great film without a director - right? So as you plan - you need at least this person for your day - make sure you budget for us. Great director = Great film

With no avail (or maybe a little), the term “Day of Coordinator” continues to dominate the wedding industry globally.
