Thank you College of Fine Arts, UT Austin for featuring Mika and Aubrey, TPA's inaugural Emerging Arts Professionals, in the Fall 2024 issue of ArtsNext! We are so fortunate to be able to provide this early-career experience and mentorship in arts administration--and thrilled that they are now part of the TPA staff! 🙌⭐️

Recent graduates Aubrey Felty and Mika O’Dwyer recently completed a year in the new Emerging Arts Professional program at Texas Performing Arts and are now both full-time employees with the organization.

Texas Performing Arts launched the program to offer recent graduates valuable opportunities to gain practical experience in arts administration, receive mentorship and grow as future arts leaders.

Felty, a B.F.A. graduate in Theatre Education from Utah State University and a former teaching artist fellow at Metro Theater Company in St. Louis, joined Texas Performing Arts’ Education & Engagement team. O’Dwyer graduated from UT’s Department of Theatre and Dance with a B.A. in Theatre and Dance and a minor in Arts Management and Administration and contributes to TPA’s event management team.
