We’ve attending hundreds of wedding mornings and we see the same mistakes being made by bridak aort members that with just a little change could be the difference between a super stressed out bride and a fun, joyful bride!!!

1. Help her set up, this is her day, she the GUEST OF HONOR…treat her like a Queen! Carry her bags and set everything g up for her! 👑👑👑

2. You’re her besties, you know the songs that get her hyped and y’all love to sing too! Have that playlist ready to go! It’s always so sad when bridesmaid are scrambling to find a crappy Spotify playlist the morning of Vs having all the sing along favorites ready to go!! 📻

3. She’ll be nervous on her Austin wedding day, but Austin brides will need to eat and stay hydrated, so ensure she is offer lots of little bites and swings of water!

4. STAY CLOSE 📣📣📣📣 I can not stress this enough for our Austin luxury weddings, she may not know that she’ll need you for lots of little things but she will and if your not there, guess what the Queen will have to lift a finger and we don’t want that!

5. Be on the look out for friends and family members that don’t act like adults and come at her to try to spoil her moment or ask ridiculous questions. Be ready to step in and take care of their needs. You can share this with her in the weeks after, but NOT on wedding morning. 💞💞💞

6. Steaming dresses should be done first thing on wedding morning, after your Austin bridal beauty team does hair and makeup is NOT a good time as humidity and steam can ruin your hair and makeup and your Austin makeup artists leave after everyone is done ✅

7. Stay with her when it’s her time to get in the stair for her Austin hair and makeup services . I find this is the moment when the nerves start to kick in, she needs a super fun supportive glammy moment!! 💄💋💄💋

When to BOOK A Bridal Preview and Why ➡️ Share this with your Bride friends!

🍭2-3 months before the wedding is the sweet spot - Here’s WHY ➡️➡️

🤍 Ideas and trends change, plus you’ve gotten a little bit closer to the date, so you’re further along on the design and may have a better feeling of what you really want, if you didn’t already.

🤍 You’re closer to the season, it’s kind of hard to do your winter preview in the summer, you know what I mean!?

🤍 you should have your dress by then and could even run home and try it on with the hair and makeup look from the preview!!! Such a great idea 💡

🤍 sometimes we change our mind, not because the preview wasn’t great because we thought we knew what we wanted, but then we ch shed our kind after the preview, the 2-4 month window gives you the time to schedule a second preview of you want, this happens a lot and is totally NORMAL!

🤍 this also give you enough time to tweak your skin care regimen, time to make a hair appointment for a cut or color if needed for the hair style.

🤍 As well as marinate on the look and make any refinements to it without feeling rushed.

Hi Future Bonita Bride 💋💋💋

Guess what I’ve been in your shoes! I had a wonderful wedding and I loved every minute of it, but hindsight is 20/20 right!?? 👀👀👀

Here’s 3 things I wish someone would have suggested before my wedding makeup

1. Self care and SKIN CARE 🗣🗣🗣🗣 both are super important leading up to the big day. We need the experts to share all the tips right!?? I mean we’re all adults here, but wedding planning is intense and sometimes it just helps to have your makeup artist remind you to slow down, schedules some facials and drink some dang water 💦💦💦

2. Choose a timeless and “favorite” version of you! We want to look back on those images and remember all of the great mercies, not search for our faces under the ponds of makeup! Remeber to choose you favorite version of “YOU” when considering your makeup look!

3. SCHEDULE EXTRA TIME ⏰⏰⏰ This one is the biggest and most important in my opinion. You want extra time to really settle in to the look and make sure you LOVE air. You don’t want to be rushing around and just fly out the door down the aisle. Early Bird gets the worm 🐛is so true for wedding day. The earlier the better, you’re going to be running on adrekeine anyways! Enjoy the ride 🎢🎢🎢

1. Y’all, she (the bride) literally spent months and thousands of dollars on a planner and the timeline so she could RELAX!!!!!!!!!! STOP ASKING HER WHERE AND WHAT TIME YOU NEED TO BE READY. Be an adult and look it up yourself OR go ask the wedding planner! Team BB literally has education covos about how to be the “bad guy” when this starts to happen cause y’all be trippin sometimes. Please for the love of god, let her relax, kick her feet up and enjoy getting glammed up💋💋

2. Giving her unsolicited advice about her hair and makeup. This should be a no brainer. Y’all it’s her day!!! Stay in your lane 🏎🏎🏎

3. Abandoning her when she sits down in the chair. This is your time to SHINE ✨🪩🪩🪩 This is one of the moments she’s needs the bridal party the most!! This is when reality starts to set in and she starts to get nervous or scared. She really really needs her girl gang to come in hot with the champs and giggles 🥂💋

BURN OUT 🤪🔥

This is never a word you want to hear from your wedding vendor, ❌

📸 Picture this, you hop in call with your vendor who your so excited about and they are low energy and fankly not very excited for you call!?? Like what the HECK? Well guess what, it’s likely they were over worked energetically by a client and that’s just so unfair to you, AM I RIGHT???

🤍 This isn’t my first rodeo and I know that my DREAM CLIENTS will appreciate and respect strict workflows and processes that allow everyone to get their needs met. Along with time and space to also be a normal human. Please remember we are people too, with families, pets, hobbies and amazing lives to live as well 💋

🤍 That being said, we service over 200 weddings per year and most of the time you will feel so special and like you are the only one!!

❌ In order to not burn out we have so many systems in place, like automated emails ➡️ here’s a little example, let’s say you rescheduled your preview Appt, this doesn’t alway mean your automated “feedback” email was rescheduled too! And that also doesn’t mean we’re confused over her at the admin team, trust me we know exactly who you are and probably even more than you know, especially if we’re having to do some rearranging! The most important thing is you have the best hair and makeup of your life, and that’s what we’re ensuring.

🤍 If our company feels like a financial stretch for you and you really need constant access, it’s okay if this is not the right choice for you. We love you anyways and wish you the best 💋💋💋

3️⃣ we have listening ears. A lot of stylists and artist out there like to talk a lot and that’s great we can give opinions all day long. I have ANSWERS👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 🍭2-4 months before the wedding is the sweet spot - Here’s WHY ➡️➡️ 🤍 Ideas and trends change, plus you’ve gotten a little bit closer to the date, so you’re further along on the design and may have a better feeling of what you really want, if you didn’t already. 🤍 You’re closer to the season, it’s kind of hard to do your winter preview in the summer, you know what I mean!? 🤍 you should have your dress by then and could even run home and try it on with the hair and makeup look from the preview!!! I’m the Bride and it’s my day and I want to go last so I can be the freshest, correct!? 👰🏻‍♀️👰🏼‍♀️ I get the logic, but trust me it is the most annoying thing when the photographer gets there early, and they Always do…they’re asking you a million question asks us to stop and start so they can take photos of your rings and get your invitations and your perfume 🤯🤯🤯 It ruins the moment, you’re not present anymore because some is asking you tons of questions and pulling you in different directions. And it has the chance of ruining the makeup too as we have certain timing for liquids, cremes and glues, makeup isn’t a start/stop situation. 🛑 Plus there’s the off chance they photograph you without your hair or makeup done and let’s be honest a lot of us don’t like that idea! 💋💋 I mean we hired an Austin Beauty team for a reason!
