We have 2 Demolition Derbies, a Livestock Show and Non-Livestock Fair Exhibits a night of Music and a Swap Meet planned so far this year!
Celebrate the future of agriculture with us on Saturday, July 20th! The Douglas Count Fair will highlight the incredible work of our young farmers. Explore Ag exhibits, a Livestock Show, and Non-Livestock Exhibits in the Exhibit Hall. Indulge in delicious Alpine Shave Ice and our Concessions Stand will be open. Enjoy live music at 7pm from The Relentless Few End the night with a bang as we light up the sky with a Fireworks Display. All this Completely free of charge!

Bone-Stock Gut-N-Go Rules
Ok I've had lots of inquiries for a Bonestock gut and go style derby so here are the rules we are gonna go with. With not alot of preparation for this the guaranteed payouts are gonna be as follows and are subject to increase with sponsorships!
Build to these rules! Not around them!
1st place gets $200 + all other entries except 2
2nd place gets entry back
3rd place gets entry back
If this turns out good and we have lots of other interest in it we have no problem with making payouts bigger! We just have to have the cars to make it work!
Must be atleast 15 years old. Ages under 18 must have parent/guardian consent and signature.
80s and newer only!
Preparation of cars! Must remove all glass and all interior. The only interior components allowed are the front seat and the dash. Must move the battery to the inside of the car.
The build rules listed below are the absolute max that you are allowed to do.
Full size cars only!
No lower cradles!
No sliders!
No protectors of any kind!
You can run aftermarket shifters and pedals!
You can engine swap! Must use factory mounts they can be welded to the factory engine cradle.
Bumpers- Must be stock to the car that you are running. The only bumper swap you can do is you can replace a aluminum backed bumper for a steel backed Vic bumper. No hard nosing. You can use 4 wraps of 9 wire or 2 pieces ⅜ chain on each frame rail to help hold the bumper to the car. No welding.
Frame- no frame modifications at all except you can notch 1 spot per frame rail in the rear. No welding of the frame anywhere!
Suspension and steering must remain 100% factory to the car! Must have the factory steering column however you can put a detach steering wheel on. NO spring spacers! No swapping springs. No rearend/differential swapping
Body- no creasing at all! And remove all trim, grills and front bezels cause we don't need anymore parts/pieces than necessary laying on the track. No changing body mounts in any location!
Doors-You may use 2 2x4 straps per vertical door seam or 2 places of 9 wire (4 wraps) or 2 pieces ⅜ chain.
Trunk- Can be tucked 50% and can only have 2 places of 9 wire (4 wraps) or 2 places of ⅜ chain. Or if you prefer you can remove the trunk lid
Hood- Must remain on the hinges. You can put 9 wire (4 wraps) or 1 piece of ⅜ chain through the core support and through the hood on each side. And have atleast 2 - 8" holes cut in the hood in case of a fire! And must have atleast 1 windshield bar.
Wheels & Tires wheels must be a stock wheel No centers or reinforcement! 16" is the biggest diameter allowed. The absolute max on the Tires is a mud tire no forklift or skid tires allowed!
Cage- It is optional but the max is a 4 point floating cage and if you run a fuel cell it can have a Simple fuel cell protector come off the seat bar. Don't get stupid with it. Nothing is to connect the cage with the floor or frame!
These are simple rules to build by so don't make inspections complicated!

Our Livestock show has grown significantly over the last few years with last year counting more than 50 exhibitors! That's 50 kids locally involved in Agriculture!!
