We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a longtime AYC Employee's son, Max Fineran. His father, John, has been a valuable asset to our Club for over 15 years.

Max was recently married, and his wife is expecting their first child in December. We are sharing the GoFundMe Page that's been created to help Max's wife and family during this difficult time.

The Jr. Deck Party took place Tuesday night, with desserts, dancing and fun on the deck! Special thanks to the volunteers, and Youth Events Chair Laurie Vizzard for helping make this annual event a memorable one for the kids. 🍦🎤🎶

On Saturday afternoon the club held a Sailing Alumni Party. Former AYC sailing students & instructors reconnected, sailed, & enjoyed food & drinks on the deck! Thanks to Commodore Jon Herr for putting together this fun reunion!

The "Welcome Back Ice Cream Social" took place Tuesday night in the Youth Room. While the kid's grabbed a scoop, parents shopped at a special Ship Store pop-up. Many thanks to all those who volunteered to scoop, and Laurie Vizzard for putting together a fun schedule of events each year!

Youth Activities are open to all children & grandchildren of AYC Members. Join us for the next event - the Jr. Deck Party - on Tuesday, July 9th!

AYC's 2024 Youth & Sailing Program kicked off today! This Program has been a part of the Club since the 1950's and has taught generations of children to sail while they form lasting friendships, learn teamwork, improve self-confidence, and develop other life skills. Thanks to Donna Strug for sending us these pictures! We're looking forward to another great Season!

We started Saturday evening off by welcoming our New 2024 Members to AYC with a cocktail reception, followed by a club-wide Welcome to Summer Cocktail Party. Members mingled, dined, and danced the night away with AM Gold Yacht Rock playing on the Deck. Special thanks to the Commodore Jon Herr & his wife Sheila for chairing a fun way to truly kick off Summer 2024!

Rocking around AYC at the annual Christmas Party! 🎵🎄It was a festive night of fun and caroling! Thanks to the generosity of our members & the Women’s Auxiliary, donations totaling $7200 as well as an abundance of toys were collected for local families in need in our area. Thanks to Bill & Sarah Burns for chairing this event.

We closed out Labor Day Weekend with our traditional Mother's/Father's/Old Timer's Regatta on Sunday, with awards to follow. Congrats to all our sailors for a fantastic season!

Sunday evening was our Changing of the Guard Ceremony, where Jon Herr was sworn in as the new AYC Commodore. We also welcomed Joanne Loeper to the Flag as Rear Commodore. Thanks to PC Bryan Eshelman for his dedication to the club for the 2023 Season!

AYC was transformed into a Western Rodeo for the 2023 Junior Commodore's Ball on Monday night. It was a fun evening from beginning to end for cowboys and cowgirls of all ages. Junior Commodore Carter Kanuk passed the tiller to incoming JC Chloe Gumbs during the event. Congratulations to Chloe and the new incoming board members. Wishing them a great year.

Our Wranglers loved their special buffet. Thanks to Jarrod, Brian, Chef Peter, Seth, and the entire staff……and Fantastic Volunteers who helped to pull it all together!
