"One of the top ten shows at the Wildstein Center!" "The best Christmas concert"

Here's what you missed when Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits took the stage at the Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts. Nearly 950 residents and visitors enjoyed the Avon Park High School Show Choir directed by Joy Loomis who opened the show. Peter Noone was so impressed by these students that he went into the audience and asked them to sing along with him.

Thank you to the show sponsors: Heartland Periodontics - HoltonLLC - AdventHealth - Bill and Lisa Jarrett. Sponsored in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts

Funny, charming and filled with all your Herman's Hermits hits and Christmas music too! Visit sfscARTS.org to see the 25-26 season line-up!

📅 Now through December 11 - MOFAC @ SFSC

Go check out The Museum of Art & Culture at South Florida State College in Avon Park's newest exhibition, Living Roots; Sacred Land, featuring artist Adorable Monique.

Her work is rich with texture, color, and Florida-inspired landscapes. All designed to spark reflection, connection, and healing.

Sharing exhibitions like this matters because our college campus is a cultural anchor for Avon Park. Events like this strengthen our creative economy, support local artists, and give our community meaningful experiences right here at home.

The exhibit is open Wednesdays–Fridays, 11:30 AM–3 PM (closed Thanksgiving week) at MOFAC on the SFSC Highlands Campus. Pieces are also available for purchase.

Have you ever visited MOFAC? If so share the exhibit or tag someone that should go with you to to check out this new exhibit?
