Hello My fellow Avonites. I know a lot of people have donated for the people and victims of hurricane Helene in North Carolina. My lovely ladies of the Avon Isabella's generously voted to donate a brand new commercial refrigerator with the intention of keeping refrigerated medicines like insulin and the like, cold, but it may end up being used for food. I am reaching out to anyone that wants to donate any amount of money for a 7500 watt generator big enough to run the refrigerator or possibly the refrigerator, and another appliance. The generator from Avon Lowe's is $1000 and is gas/propane unit that is IN STOCK. If you are so inclined to donate ANY amount, (no amount too small) cash can be dropped off at A Secret Garden Florist at 36927 Detroit Rd. Avon. We are heading down to Ashville-Black Mountain, NC on Friday evening so any donations can be accepted until 5 P.M. Friday at the flower shop. Any Money over the amount we need for the generator will be put towards flameless space heater(s) or sleeping bags. I know there are a lot of requests out there for NC but we are blessed here in NE Ohio and I know if the tables were reversed, the generous people of NC would be helping their fellow Americans here on the North Coast.
